RETURN TO GAEA(chapter 1)

This is my first fanfic on this site so when reviewing be very truthful and cut me some slack i'm a first timer. Hope you enjoy it.

"Another boring day," sighed Hitomi propping up her book as the sun shone through the glass panes of her window. She could here the engine grumbling from outside and the screeching of tyres as her parents' car pulled out of the driveway. Ukari had gone to visit Amano in England and Hitomi's parents were going on a trip.
She yawned once more. After 10 more minutes she realised that the book was boring her and decided to go to the track.
When she reached there she pulled out her stopwatch and programmed it, you never know she could even beat her current record.
Hitomi got in position and just as she was about to run she was bathed in light and lifted from the ground.

One month earlier

Lein huddled against the tree her deep blue hooded cloak tightly wrapped around her. She could here their footsteps getting nearer, 'the forest is ever so loathsome,' she thought as the howl of a wolf filtered the air.
"Thhis one'll fetch a pretty penny," said one of the thieves stroking his finger across his dagger.
Lein knew she was surrounded, the tree her only comfort, she was shivering as the rain beat heavily on her skin. One of the large ones was coming to retrieve her.
Even if she did manage to escape(which wasn't likely) she didn't know the way to Asturia and would either remain in the forest forever or get caught again.
Lein closed her eyes, waiting.
Suddenly she heard a shriek. She shot open her eyes to find the head of the large thief lying on the floor. A young blond around about her age was infront of her. He had crystal blue eyes and the sword he was holding held the crest of Asturia, a knight maybe.
All of the other thieves shot one glance at him and ran for their lives.
He turned once they were gone and helped her up.
"I am Gareth a knight of Asturia under Allen Shazaar and who may you be?" he asked.
By now Leins golden hair was drenched she was shivering and it didn't help that all she was wearing an armless nightdress.
"I am Lein princess of Dratagoss and cousin of Melurna third princess of Asturia and Eries second princess of Asturia. My carriage was attacked by those thieves, all of our goods were burned to the ground and i remain the only survivor."
Gareth smiled 'finally a damsel in distress ive always wanted to rescue one of these.' he thought.
"Come with me i'll take you to Allen and we'll help you to find your way to Asturia for that is where we are journeying to."
With that he lead her away.

Back to the present

Hitomi opened her eyes and found herself lying down on the floor of a forest. The sun was shining through the dense branches of the trees which surrounded her. She suddenly heard hooves and emerging from the trees was a horse and his rider.
"Van is that you!" She exclaimed.
