Is it true that Final Fantasy 12 will be the last final fantasy ever!?! I heard it going around the rumor mill, but I really hope it's just a rumor. Does any one know?

It's most definatly NOT the last. The developers are saying that it's just going to be a more traditional final fantasy game, not a farewll. They say that they hope the sirese will go on to produce more great games. There will be a lot of additions new to the final fantasy franchise (like battles on the field screen). I can't wait for it to come out.
