Heero's POV
Sunday Morning 4:00
*Ring*
"What is it?" Heero asked the phone, not really bothering with niceties today. He sat up staring at the shuttered window, noticing the street lights were still on and the usually silent block had another late party with blaring music shaking the window panes.
"Yuy," Une replied, unphased by his demeanor, "We need you back at the Darlain estates. The security systems need to be turned off before Pagan wakes up to find the glitch in the system frying his bed."
"...Roger..." *click* 'Another fine day to fix the system that was just activated two days ago,' Heero groaned as he put on his boots. He didn't bother changing out of his clothes anymore in the morning. He changes at night so he can just get up and go, knowing someone would have him up sometime in the night.
Ruffling his hair, and slamming the door shut behind him, Heero headed back to the estate where he was just an hour ago. 'Another day, another stupid problem that someone else could handle.'
...
Sunday 4:33 am
Arriving at the back gate, Heero got off the motorcycle and hopped over the gate with a grunt and an incomprehensible muttering. Then avoiding the cameras and the dogs, whom he had trained himself, who, like any dumb dog loved to jump on his back, front, and slobber all over him, he kicked open the electric box where the switches were and shut them all off.
"RUFF! ROUFF! ROUWLL!!!" The dogs caught up.
"Stay! Down! Get off! Off!!!" *Thump!* "Ouch! Damn, dogs...Hey! No sniffing- That's it... Fetch!" Throwing a fake bone Heero turned and ran off to the wall, where he could get out of the yard finally.
5:06 am
*Ring*
"Yeah?" Heero asked as he removed the dogs leftover slobber.
"Oh, good, Hey, man, your up this early?" Duo yawned at him. "Listen, the Preventors need a security guy to watch over the parking lot near Relena's next meeting, and I can't because it's Hilde's and mine aniversary...Could you fill in for me? Pleasse?" Another yawn filled the reciever.
"...Roger..."
"Hey, thanks buddy! I owe you big time... It's on Tuesday...Later!" *click*
'Another idiot wakes up.'

Sunday 6:00am
Relena's POV
Waking up with the sound of the dogs barking Relena grinned and counted the seconds before Heero walked in through the glass window next to the bathroom.
"5...6...7....8....54321...Good morning, Heero." Laughing as he shoved Bully, the rotweiler back outside Relena walked into the bathroom. "Lovely day, don't you think?"
"..." Naturally, he was silent as always. 'Wonder when he woke up this morning. I only got out of bed because of the alarm's (dogs) going on outside. Poor Heero. Maybe I shouldn't have spoiled the dogs as much as I did.' Smiling as she undressed and took the usual quick shower.
Heero was leaning against the wall adjacent like always, either closing his eyes for propriety, or maybe taking a quick snooze for all that Relena knew, as she walked back into the bedroom and got dressed in casuals today, her only day-off. Of course, no one would let her go out alone, so naturally, they gave her the best bodyguard; Heero Yuy. Heero was now her full time protector, according to Une. "Ready to go somewhere, Heero?"
Opening his eyes, He nodded and walked out to meet her at the front door.
"Hey, Heero? Can we take the motorcycle today?" He looked back at her from the door way and nodded again. 'What's with him today? Even a grunt would suffice.'
*** 7:30am
Munching on some toast, and drinking the much needed coffee, Relena thanked Pagan and grabbed another slice of toast and the remaining coffee cup to go. "Hey, Heero!" Relena called out as she spotted him leaning against the bike. Looking up Heero rolled his eyes as she handed him the toast and coffee. Putting on the helmet, Relena was set. Heero secretly tossed the toast away, but drank the coffee and set the cup on the stairs. It was a usual practice, Relena loved going out to the town and park areas nearby and Heero accepted the task politely. 'Well, his version of polite anyway.'
"Hold on." And he careened down the drive as fast as Relena wanted. 'Zechs may not want Heero nearby me,' Relena thought to herself,' But I know he's always protecting me. Une gave him the job so that it could be official. And so that Zechs couldn't complain about us being together, the over protective brother ploy, which hardly ever works.'
*** 10:30am
"Heero, why don't we stop at a movie theatre later?" Relena asked as they walked downtown to a coffee shop that Relena enjoyed. They parked the bike near the police station and took a bus over to the main street. Heero was trying to hide a yawn, something that Relena had never see him do. 'Must have pulled the night shift again, the idiot.'
Nodding, Heero walked beside her, trying to make sense of what she just said. 'A what? Movie theatre? One of those old screen theatres?' Shaking his head to clear his mind Heero opened the door for her as they walked into the shop.
"Welcome to Starbucks, what will you have?" A waitress asked as she pointed to a table in the corner.
"Oh, I'll have a vanilla cappacino and a bagel with cream cheese and, Heero?"
"Expresso. Double shot."
"Alrighty, and what kind of bagel Miss?"
"Plain please."
"Alright that comes to $7.69"
Heero nodded and held out the money, noticing a group of men in the opposite corner looking over their way. 'Where have I seen them before?'
"Sir? Your change."
"Hm? Yeah."
Relena noticed Heero's mood and tapped him on the head. Blinking Heero looked at her funny while she giggled. "Already in the pondering mood, Heero? It's not even noon."
Grunting in reply Heero crossed his arms and waited for the coffee with Relena, who was already munching on her bagel which was just served her. When the coffee was served, Heero glanced back at the group of men in the corner. 'I know I've seen them before. Old OZ soldiers? Or was it earlier than that?' They were all dressed in casual suits and talking to one another in hushed tones. 'Maybe I'm getting paranoid. The war is over.' Heero then drank the rest of his coffee in one gulp and waited for Relena to finish her cappacino.
Relena ate the rest of her bagel and asked him of he as ready to go. Nodding, Heero followed her out, keeping an eye out for the group in the corner, who had just finished as well.
While Heero was dragged to other stores by Relena, The group of men watched discretely from a distance.
"What will we do about her bodyguard, sir? They say he's a former gundam pilot."
"No matter. I'll take care of him soon enough. You all just keep an eye on her whereabouts so the plan can be a success. Remember, I'm not the only boss around here. There's still another one above me payin' the checks. You just keep her locations on record, got it?"
"Yes sir." The other men all replied and dispursed into the crowded street.
Hopefully, Ch.2 ON IT'S WAY!!!
