Proto fic idea (MelissaxKurz)

Now, I'm a huge fan of KanamexSousuke action (no Tessa! No! No! Stay away from the Sergeant! Um... did I say that? Yes I did. And I mean it. *Borrows Kaname's fan, and brandishes it at the captain*) , but I've got a crazy one off floating around in my head.

The scary part is it centers around Melissa and Kurz. (Who else is of the opinion it should have been translated Kurt?) Not a long term romance. Those two? *looks around in confusion and shock* More like a one night stand. Hmm... now how to make it happen. Get Melissa drunk. Easy. Get Kurz drunk. Shouldn't be hard. Great, this is turning into a lemon, and I don't even have a clue how to do them. Now the real challenge... have Sergeant Clueless walk in on the aftermath, and totally miss the subtext. Oh, and not have Melissa kill Kurz. Can't forget that important thing.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a fun idea. I can imagine all kinds of mayhem when Sousuke walked in on them.

If you want to avoid the whole Lemon thing I'd suggest starting right at the morning after. Like when Sousuke walks in on them. Take it from there. Have a few choice flashbacks to show how they got there. But keep the focus on the mayhem sure to ensue. (ie how fast can Kurz run away?)

And stuff.

I'm grinning at the possibilites already.

I always pondered the possibility of a secret love affair between the two. I bet Kurz would never let her live it down. If he lived long enough to mention it.

All I can say is the more Kurz and Melissa fics the better, I always like to see them as a couple once Melissa lets Kurz in.

I've thought about my idea, and a few things have come together. Such as:

• Melissa and Kurz were training newly assigned soldiers to the Tuatha de Danaan, and it was really bad
  During that time, Sousuke brought Kaname to the sub so Tessa could train her in using her Whispered abilities
  M and K go to M's quarters to have some beer.
  Next morning, Sousuke goes in search of the pair, Kaname in tow.
  He finds them. In the fallout, it's Kurz who gets fanned, not Sousuke, for once.

Now, any ideas what the training could have been? I have a reason why Sousuke wasn't doing training. Any ideas that can improve this?

Yeah, this fic, plus two Xenosaga ones I'm writing have been warring in my head to be written. *sighs* How kind of them.

Sounds amusing.

As far as the training. From what I know about Naval operations (which is limited) but new saliors who arrive are already trained some. They've gone thru basic and whatever training their job classifaication requires.

But that's just the basics. Each ship and Unit has their own slightly different ways of doing things. And it's up to NOCs (like Kurz and especially Melissa) to see to it that the new guys learn the ins and outs of the units (or ships) way of doing things.
