Relena's P.O.V.

That night I laid in my bed and all I could think of was him for a moment. What made a person commit such violent crimes at such a young age? His life had barely begun and he had already wasted it... He seemed so evil from afar, when I wasn't with him, but when I was, he was like any other person I'd dealt with. 'Well? except for the part about it being more challenging and life-risking' I thought with a small smile. I had seen him, in his eyes, as two things, that Demon he was so well known for and a lost being that I guess no one else ever got to see... I sighed loudly as I clung tighter to my pillow.

I remember when I was a child... Such a confusing time.

Flashback

"Mamma whewe awe you?" A little girl who couldn't have been more than two sat in the floor crying. The little girl soon got up to search for her missing mother. She went into a large ballroom that took her some time to get across. When she finally reached another door, she pushed it open and peeked her small head in.

"Mamma!" She squealed with delight when she saw feet coming from behind the counter. Her delighted squeal soon turned to a mournful cry as she saw the sight before her. Her mother was laid out on the ground with her hair spread beneath her like an angel's, with a look of peace and calm upon her face. "Mamma pweeaase don be dead!!!" The two year old ran to her mother's side to shake her. "Mamma!!!" she repeated over and over as tears streamed down her small, round face.

And just as the poor little two year old was about to give up, her mother jumped up and swooped her up in her arms. "Mamma?" She said, confused and needing confirmation. Confirmation was exactly what she gave as she tickled the little girl until they were both out of breath. Just then a small blonde boy came in. "Mother, why do you do that to her?" he blinked away tears. "Is it not cruel the way you pretend to be dead and make her sad?" She looked over at him and held Relena at her side. "Milliardo, my dear," She reached down, wiped away his tears, and smiled. "That is how I know it all matters." He looked confused and opened his mouth to say something, but was quickly hushed. "You'll learn when you're older..." Her beautiful smile brightened as she turned, put Relena down, and walked away.

End of Flashback...

"Zeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeechs!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I started screaming. "Zeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeechs!!! Come here please, quick!" I heard him sprint down the hall until he reached my room and when he got in he looked at me as if I was crazy. "What is it?! I thought you were hurt; you screamed so loud!" I began laughing, which I guess didn't really amuse him. "I remembered something!!! I think..." he looked at me as if he was trying to figure out if I was serious or not. "Really, I did!!" I squealed with delight. "I remember our mother, at least I think she was our mother... Well anyway, I was looking for her and I was crying. I couldn't have been anymore than two." I paused to make sure he was listening. "I came to a large ballroom where I saw a door, and in that door I saw our mother laying on the floor and..." I was suddenly interrupted by the ringing of my cell phone.

When I answered it, I heard none other than Heero's attorney on the other end. "Yes?" I answered hesitantly. (A.N. and now people you hear those sounds people make over the phone in Charlie Brown or "Peanuts" Specials! ^_^) I sat there listening on the phone for anything he was saying that I could possibly care about. "Um hmm... Yes...um hmm," I kept saying, to get him to think I was actually listening. "What? They're going to approve it!!!" I suddenly jumped up happily. "Yes, thank you, Mr. Borman," I said before hanging up the phone. 'Boy does that name fit...' I thought, before I turned to my brother, who now wore a questioning look on his face. "They approved Heero Yuy for the H.A.P.P. program!!!"

"Like, oh my gosh, that is so totally cool!" My brother said with a very displeased look and a deadpan voice. I frowned

"Hey, can't you just be happy for me instead of being so cynical?" He put a hand on his hip

"Of course I can, but not when you're going to go spend several weeks on an island ALONE with a man who eats little 22 year old women like you for lunch!" I stomped over to him "He does not eat them for lunch!! He killed them...." I stopped dead in my tracks. "EXACTLY WHY I DON'T WANT YOU IN EVEN THE SAME DIMENSION AS HIM!!!!!" He blew his stack out the window and down the block.

"You are so selfish!" It suddenly burst out before I could stop it and continued like oral diarrhea that I couldn't stop. "All you're thinking about is you and how you won't have a baby sister should something horrible like 'LIFE' happen to me!"

"I...." He tried to start, but I wasn't about to let him get a word in. "See, there you go with 'I' again! Since I was eleven and you stole me from my home it has always been about you! What about my life? My career? My plans?! I can't go on living in a glass house lookin' out on the world just because you think I'm gonna fall and scrape my knee! I have to have my freedom!!!" I finished, feeling flushed and out of breath.

"Fine!" He exploded "I don't have to care just because you're my sister!!! I just don't want to see you get hurt because I watched our mother die, and I don't want to see the same thing happen to you! But from now on when something happens, I promise I'll look the other way!" And with that said he stormed out of the room.

I felt hot tears stinging at my eyes, but refused to let them go. How could he be so mad at me for wanting to live my life, as to not want to have anything to do with me? Well.... Fine.... If it was gonna be that way then so be it!! 'I never needed you anyway, and you're not the only one that's seen death.' Hurrying out of the room, I grabbed my coat and car keys. 'I think it's about time I go and look at that house I'm going to be residing in for the next few weeks... or maybe even months.'

The drive was long... too long... too quiet... and quiet equals me thinking way too much. I kept remembering what my brother had said about seeing our mother die, and for a moment I wondered if it might have been possible that I had seen it too. I mean, why not? Zechs always said that I followed my mother around like I was her shadow. So.... what if....?

Heero's P.O.V.

It was quiet again, and dark. Darkness. It reminded me of something... Something I really didn't want to remember, yet it was there so vividly in my mind that I could almost touch the image. The image of Me. At a different time that seemed so far away and so long ago...

Flashback

"Why?" a small boy of eight asked. "Why do I have to do this? It will accomplish nothing!"

"You speak fancy for a boy your age," A very old man replied, with a smile that not even a mother could love. "It is a test and you had better do it! Or else..." The boy's eyes narrowed.

"Or else what, you'll somehow disarm this gun before I blow you're frickin' brains out?"

The old man looked at the boy and pulled up his hand, which was not actually a hand but some kind of claw- shaped device. "No, Heero, that's not what I'll do at all." The man reached up and pulled off what looked somewhat like glasses, only shaped more like eyeballs, and made Heero gasp with fear. "I'll make you look like this." The man smiled, another practically toothless grin. Heero wanted to scream and run, but he knew he mustn't, for that would only lead to what he wanted to get away from. Instead, he simply uttered two simple but meaningful words. "Mission Accepted."

The mission was as exactly as pointless as he had said. All he did was go to a school and observe some people. And when he returned he inquired to 'Dr. J' as to why he had to go on with that useless mission. "To observe people, Yuy. So you can learn how to blend into a crowd if necessary. And so maybe you can learn how to deal with people, because for your ultimate mission you are going to meet all kinds of people. Some important to the mission and some not. In either case, you need to know how to deal with all types of people."

'People.' Heero thought. 'They seem so useless, why deal with them when you can just shoot 'em?'

And that was exactly the thought that got him where he was.

End of Flashback

So what now? Do I wish I had listened?

Never.

After all it was 'People' that killed that man. And it was people who started wars. And it is I who is going to eliminate that threat. People. What a waste of creativity. They deserve whatever they get. And what they are getting is a bullet straight to the brain or worse... heh heh, much worse. My laughter suddenly filled the room, sounding like thunder. I was going to make it my personal mission to Eliminate All People. Starting with Ms. Shultz. Well, maybe not starting... But certainly not ending with her. My maniacal laughter filled the room once again. What a wonderful sound for the beginning of the end of Humanity.....

Relena's P.O.V.

Finally. I had arrived....'Boy, that was a long trip.' The house was huge, and completely surrounded by tall and even some short trees. It was made mostly of glass; you could see everything except the bedrooms and bathroom. 'How ironic, another glass house.' Taking a closer look at the house, I could see that it must have been taken care of for a while, but it didn't look like anyone had inhabited it for quite some time. 'Guess I better get to work and set things up for that big infamous *cringes a bit* day...'

Two hours later, I was dressed in my cleaning gear and checking my list. "Now I've done the dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and packing the fridge with food. ...and... now I'm done packing the clothes, so I should have only a little bit to do! Whew!" I said, wiping my forehead clean of sweat.

"What to do next? Let's see... geez.... I got my room, and only my patient's room left. Good thing, too... I'm definitely not my mother, she could do this all day. I think I'd probably roll over and die first!" I laughed to myself and returned to work. 'This is gonna be weird, living with someone I don't know.... But it's not like I haven't done it before... after all ,I didn't know my brother.' A frown crossed my face as I thought about our earlier argument. 'Why doesn't he understand me....? What is wrong with wanting to live?' *I saw our mother die.... And I don't want to see the same thing happen to you* My brothers words repeated in my head over and over. 'What did you see that made you look so.... helpless? I've never seen him look like that, not even when I'm sure he doesn't know what he's doing in the most impossible situation! Like when we first met he was so... silly.'

-Flashback-

A young girl stood there, looking at the man who had just threatened her take the chance to run for his life before the young boy in front of her blew his brains out.

"Are you alright, Princess?" the young blonde boy (who looked only 14) inquired,, putting his gun into the holster.

"Princess?" she questioned, blinking several times to make sure she wasn't dreaming. "If...... I'm a princess..... are you a knight astride a fearful dragon?" She tilted her head to the side with a thoughtful smile.

The boy laughed and replied, "I'm the Prince who fell from the stars." The eleven year old then joined in laughter.

But their laughter soon came to an end as they heard "Miss! Miss Relena!"

'Guess I had better go....' the 14 year old thought sadly. "Well then, if you'll excuse me.." He said, as he turned to walk away.

"Oh..." was all she uttered before she turned and walked towards the voice of the woman. 'That was an odd situation...' She smiled. "But at least it wasn't boring... hmmm.... the prince... from the stars...."

Later on that night...

The same young girl sat at her vanity brushing her hair, when all of a sudden she heard a thunk on her window. 'Hmm? what could that be... maybe a tree?' She slowly sauntered over to the window, so as not to be surprised, but nothing could prepare her for what she saw. Standing on the ground was the same boy she had seen earlier, throwing rocks at her window.

"And who are you, Romeo?" she crossed her arms, slightly annoyed from the trouble she got in the last time she saw him.

"If I am Romeo... then you forgot your lines, Juliet." He laughed at her scowl.

"Ohh, what do you want? I got in really big trouble for being out last time!" the young girl whined and fussed at the same time.

"Did I ask you to go out and get captured during a terrorist attack?" He continued his laughter while she scowled once again.

"Fine, laugh at me," she said haughtily. "You can stay out there in the cold, then!" she yelled out the window, shaking her fist. Unfortunately for poor little Relena, she didn't quite have her balance and slipped, which inevitably led to her falling out the window. Her scream pierced the night air as she descended down to the ground, but her horrifying fall soon came to an end as she felt herself land in a strong pair of arms.

"Calm down. Stop screaming, it was only two stories!" The boy tried to calm down the screaming girl and fortunately it worked, for at that very moment she stopped screaming and started blinking.

"W-who are you?" she asked, out of the blue.

"I... my name is Milliardo Peacecraft." Suddenly, the girl jumped up and yelled. "What?! You're the missing heir to the Peacecraft throne?!... hey, are you trying to trick me?" Milliardo laughed. "Yes, I'm the heir... but that's not all... There is a reason I called you princess, little sis." He winked at her. "Huh, why?...eh?.... wait, did you just call me sister?!" Now Relena was thoroughly confused, and he had to be so mysterious about it instead of just getting it over with and telling her what he had to say.

As if he were reading her mind, he promptly got serious and said, "Yes, I did, and that is because.." He suddenly looked uneasy, and her scrutinizing wasn't helping at all. "You are my sister... and the heiress... Relena Peacecraft." He stopped to scan her face for her reaction, but what he got completely shocked him. She all of a sudden jumped up and hugged him, squeezing him for all he was worth, chanting "I knew it I knew it I knew it!!!" Managing to pry her off of him, he asked, "You knew the whole time?" She stopped chanting, and her happy face turned serious. "Well no... but I had dreams, and things didn't feel right.. I kept feeling like I was adjusting to something new, even though I was supposed to have been accustomed to it for all of my life. So I began to wonder, especially when I saw you and you acted like you had seen me, even known me before...." she finished

They sat there in silence until suddenly a crazy idea popped into her head. "Milly?"

"Hmm?" her brother looked at her to see a look of hope in her eyes. "What is it?" He got suspicious, remembering that look from when they were younger. It usually meant she had a crazy idea. "I want to go with you!" his sister blurted out, catching him completely off guard. "Eh, what?" he looked shocked. "I want you to take me with you when you leave!" she looked so excited, he hated to have to break her heart.

"Relena, even at your young age you should know better than that. You know I couldn't possibly ta.." he was interrupted by the sound of gunshots and a scream, then another gunshot. "Get down," he told Relena, who immediately complied fearfully. She watched as he got up and looked around, then disappeared behind the house. She soon heard gunshots and saw him running back, and shooting in the opposite direction.

"Relena!!" he yelled. "Go and get in the mobile suit! Hurry!!" The young girl looked confused. " What's a Mobile suit?" He stopped and looked at her as if she were crazy but a thought suddenly hit him. " Um the Dragon!!" he yelled. Understanding she then stood up and ran towards the mobile suit. "Relena stay down!!!" he yelled out but a second too late.

A bullet whizzed by him and hit her in the back. She fell with a thud. "Oh God! Relena!" He yelled and when he didn't see any movement, he ran over to her and checked her pulse, which was fortunately still beating. "Grrrrr!" he growled angrily, and looked up at the men with guns (which there were currently about seven of). "Messing with my sister is #1 in my book of violations. And you're about to get a first class beating for it!" Jumping into the mobile suit, he started it and stepped over Relena to protect her from being fired upon again. Then he proceeded to fire upon them as they ran in fear of being stepped on. After *ahem,* defeating the men, he picked up his sister with the hand of the mobile suit. "We had better get out of here before someone comes and finds this."
