Inspiration: the musical (and book) ?The Phantom of the Opera?

A/N: I'm feeling devious and angsty and misunderstood and just... blah. Yes, this is what happens when you overdose on POTO and drink carbonated soft drinks at 2 am in the morning, forsaking all sleep. You dig up old works and mope over them.

Curse you and damn you! I scorn your petition to return? all because of you
Your white glove grazing my neck paralyzes me just as you did my soul
Look at what you?ve done; yearning for yellow gondolas and twisted corridors
Through wooden doors, concrete walls of the theatre searching insanely for your voice
All the while the albino terrier runs aimlessly begging for a bloody cookie!
Our friendship thickened to something more painful than just hunger and revenge
And red curtains call to betray my folly to rats and monkeys
You swore to ?sing once again with me!? Then left me half-dead
This pitiful sanctuary of you, benevolent shadow of ancient grief
Beautiful creature of darkness- whom I can?t forgive or forget- what kind of life will I know?
And still the white dog roams pointlessly

Dusty riverboats manipulate eyes to deception
Swish of a cloak you grin sadistically then you?ve died to the night
Phantom ships sail the dark passes of the underworld beneath the theatre.


That is all I can remember.


Sewers infested with river rats
Miniscule toy monkeys manically crashing their two tin cymbals with mechanical insanity?


All night long, I search for the nameless voice: the one that had gripped my heart and tore it out of my chest with all the splendour and bloody gore of a night time lover. My dripping heart complete with sinews clotting from the oxidizing air held in front of my eyes as the aching, killing pain of his mercy seduced me into the shadows of his cloak.
