Chapter three- Her Feelings

The winds rushed upon them as the mechanical dragon?s form swiftly moved forth into the horizon, two figures sat upon its form, seeming to hold each other in safety, or perhaps an embrace. The white dragon?s visage reflected the light of the sun as its rays pushed through the open fields, making every mark visible to the fallen king.
The short haired girl shifted her form against his, her arms moving a bit more tightly around him as she voiced upon his ear, ?Ne... Van...?
?Sorry...? He voiced back, shifting his form as the massive dragon turned to the left, towards the rolling hills and upon the rising mountains.
She shook her head slowly, giving him a reassuring smile as her eyes moved upon the mountains, her voice still a vague whisper, ?Iidesyou...?
Silence moved between them as they stared upon the same thing, the sun high up on the skies, warming them both as fallen king shifted his form slightly, his arms pulling upon the rein-like controls of the mechanical dragon, its form slowly moving down upon the peak of one specific mountain, a place they could never forget.
He took a leap off its massive form, holding her upon his arms before releasing her to stand on her own. She moved close to the mountain?s edge, staring up at the sky, the sky hidden in a guise of blue, though she knew better. She continued to look upon one single part of the morning sky, sighing softly as the fallen king moved by her.
?Ne... Van...? She spoke once again, her soft voice making him tilt his head towards her direction.
She as well moved her eyes upon his, their gazes locked for a moment before she continued, ?How long do you think can I stay here??
His lips moved as the memory of their parting had come clear upon his mind, he voiced the only answer he knew, though where once his voice was gladdened, upon this moment sorrow pushed his tone, ?Until the Mystic Moon calls you back... again...?
Staring once again upon the skies, they were both silent. She tried to smile; being with him now was enough, wasn?t it? She tried to be happy, tried to be hopeful, tried to be strong, only now it seemed that she was losing all her will as her gaze moved upon him.
?We?ll...? A single tear rushed down her cheek, her voice filled with sadness, teary in a way, sobbing once and a while as she tried to speak, ?We?ll... always be... together... Ne??
A similar encounter as before, though this time they knew the consequences. Parting was such sweet sorrow, though the sorrow was too much for them to bear. They were all alone, though they were together. The threads of fate held their thoughts together yet they could not bear never seeing each other, nor the thought of never being with each other ever again. All they knew was that. That they could never be, the hope they had from before slowly dissipated as she turned towards him.
Her form moved upon him, letting her body trip upon herself as he moved to catch her, holding her close, the warmth of their embrace. She tried to dry her tears against his shirt, though only to find that they only kept on flowing.
?Nakanaide...? He whispered, taking in her scent as he buried his face upon her hair.
She shook her head, whispering out a simple, ?Ie...?
?Don?t...? He paused, uncertain of what to speak, trying to find the right words, blurting out his thoughts, ?... think about it... too much...?
She pulled her head back, staring upon his eyes, unsure of what he truly meant. No matter how long or how short it would be, it would still end the same way. As the act continued to unfold, the end was certain, that they would still be apart. No matter how long or short it was, it would never be long enough for her. She wished eternity, yet eternity was the only thing that they could never have.
?We?re together... now...? He forced out a smile, trying to reassure her, just as she did so many times before, ?I will always be here for you... until you leave...?
The sad fact that stood as they held each other, a fate that they could never escape.
?We better get back...? The fallen king voiced as he stood, though her form remained against his, clinging to him.
?Don?t let me go...? She whispered tearfully, almost a desperate toen moving through, her voice slowly gaining volume ?If you let go... it would all be over... I don?t want to lose you! I don?t want to go!! Onegai, don?t let go!!!?
She spoke of her thoughts once again, something that was undecipherable to anyone, though she continued on, shaking her head against his form, her voice gaining volume.
He gently held her in his arms, his voice kind, ?Hitomi-kirei...?
A tint of crimson moved upon her cheeks as she shifted her gaze up to his eyes, her lips parting slightly as her head moved up towards his, another tear rushing down her cheek. Soft breath escaped her lips as she closed her eyes, her lips inching upon his at every moment that passed. She brushed her lips against his, though only for a short moment, as her head tilted down, the color upon her cheeks brightening slightly.
The short haired girl?s voice went silent as she slowly moved her form off him, wiping her tears away with her hands before looking upon him, smiling brightly as she spoke, ?Gomen... I?m still too childish...?
He smiled, shaking his head, making it a silent reply as his hand moved upon hers, their fingers lacing as she moved by him, staring upon the sun high up in the skies.
As they turned towards the mechanical dragon, she voiced, tilting her body a bit closer to his, ?I cannot understand this destiny that we have chosen...?
?In time...? He spoke as he moved his arms to carry her, making his ascent towards the dragon?s figure, ?I think... we will...?
The massive form of the dragon moved once again, taking air as it took flight back towards the small encampment, the sound of its wings flapping echo through the fields.
A man is not a man until he has accessed his raw untamed energy and takes pleasure to his capacity to fight and defend himself. Only then can he transform his blind rage into power to commit himself, to handle tensions and to make difficult decisions. Inner security also develops. It is based on his realization that whatever goes wrong, he can get help from his inner resources, from the basic energy of his aggression.

Aww...this is getting sad all of a sudden...

You're doing a great job in keeping in character, and the thoughts are beautifully expressed. Keep it up and coming!
