It felt strange yet so comfortable. The warm sensation of his own blood. His labored breathing that seemed so far away in his own ears. The pain that clasped against his sides. His free hand clutched the sword, his lights seeing the people fight.

He no longer had a reason to live, not if the reason for his very being was gone. Kagome...Ryko's fingers tightened against the hilt of the sword. The blood he saw of his comrades, however he felt no loss for them. The strong clone of blood wrapped around him in a warm blanket. The cold soild rock held him upstraight, and his fingers loosened against his rather large wound.

He didn't care if he died anymore, Ryko looked up at the night sky. Wondering if he would be entering there soon. Would he be with Kagome again? Maybe he would be able to see his family again. It's been so long.

Screams were heard and the sound of cannon brusted in the night. The heat of fires bristled and sobs of children surronded him. Ryko struggled to get up to no avail. Even though he wanted to die, Ryko was not selfish enough to let others die because he was trying to die and not protecting his village!

Ryko choked as he held out a sword, blocking a child from harm. "Run..." He gasped out to those child.

The fire was behind the enemy. The fire taking in everything in sight, humans, plants, and houses. The entire village was like a large fireplace under the sight of the night sky.

Ryko kept hearing screams and eve though the enemy slid their swords in his back like he was some soft butter stick, Ryko keep dragging his limp and heavy body along. His blood leaving a trail. He choked against the smoke and finally reached a cannon. His brown eyes widened and saw what teh cannon was aiming for. The castle of the hokage, Ryko suddenly the strength to stand up and fight! Ryko threw himself against teh cannon fire. Ryko's air was knocked off and he felt nothing but pain.

"You little piece of shit!" Someone screamed at him and the person pulled the trigger. Even though he was on the train to death, Ryko knew that he had saved his village and the hokage. That was what he had always wanted to do, protect people. At last Ryko closed his eyes and the last thing he remembered was a woman screaming his name, begging him to stay awake and live, her tear streaked face reminded him of someone. Kagome.. Ryko's mind screamed at him, his chest began tightening and his head registered pain and he saw this large whtie light as he screamed and finally the words came out of his mouth and mind. NO!!

"Ryko!! Ryko!! Please...please stay awake! Please Ryko! Don't leave me alone!"Kagome screamed. She peered into the night sky, sobbing, cradling the limp and bloody body into her hands, she screamed into teh air and suddenly she was killed.

LOL. I suppose it is. But I'm not sure, I was basing it on a war or something in China. HEHE, I liked the fact that two lovers died. -sigh- It's almost like Heero and Relena, though their love will live on forever. And besides there both still alive in almost all the fictions anyhow!
