Dreams (poem)

Post by C.G »

Dreams

Whispers from Tears
Whose bringer's haunted cries
Are heard though
The shadows that fades
Back into the night
For there is where they rest
In their eternal sleep
To bind them to night
Where day cannot be
By what gentle purpose
Of lights deceiving touch.

Escape is victory
When only those know what
Hope cannot be achieve there
And so lost souls will bind their will
To this world of shaded reality
And die the coldest death
Of what mortals can endure.

Let this moment of disbelief
Be only memory to visitors of
Age and time.
For this is more noble
Then what you let the dream become.

Not confusing, but is not something you can read and understand right away. It sounded more like a legend of some sort, or perhaps a riddle. I liked it very much, and I hope you write more. Good job, C.G.

it sound like something you would heard on the LOFR or something. it's very cool and if you believe in things like peagen (correct me if I spell anything wrong) or witchcraft then this would make even more sense to you.

Great job.
