Step 1) Choose a subject. The first thing that pops into your head. It doesn't have to pertain to Heero or Relena or even a published character! It could pertain to a squiggle or your math teacher

Step 2) Come up with something really easy or basic as a "plot line." Something like the above mentioned guy eating Cheez-Its for example. The Cheez-Its come alive and start dancing an elegant waltz across the floor or they get into a battle with some random Ritz crackers. I dunno! It doesn't even have to qualify as a 'real plot' just as long as you can include some sort of action. Parodies work well as in making fun of a show or a person or a historical event. What ever seems to "spark your interest." Trying a different genre (ie if you usually write mystery write romance or humor) may also work.
Step 3) Give yourself no restraints. Don't force yourself to come up with the prettiest most complex sentences using an elevated diction or give yourself a limit as to how much you can write. Basically, let lose. Just write what ever pops into your head about your chosen subject and plot. Let the story write itself.
When I did this, I drew on a piece of paper a face with no boundaries as to where it ended - it consisted of two eyes, a nose, a mouth, and three hairs. (I'm no artist) I decided to make a humerous parody based off American comic book superheros like Superman, Spiderman, and Batman. My boredom created an ongoing struggle between Doodle Man and the fiends of the 2-Dimentional world in the city of Zeichtropolis. (It's from the German word that means draw) The Adventures of Doodle Man have become quite popular in my school and people check with me on a daily basis to find out about what happens next. Not only did I come up with a fun distraction for boring classes, but I also got myself writing again. Three days later, (I was rather absorbed in Doodle Man) I came up with an idea for a ZxN fic. I'm in the process of writing it. Basically, this is aimed at getting writing something that isn't an essay. (Don't you hate it when you've gotta write an essay while you've got a WB?) It's fun and usually stupid, but it works! You're at least writing something and having fun. - You're supposed to have fun when you do this. I don't think it'll work if you don't... I have two friends that I recommended this to (their WB stories were interesting to say the least...) and it worked for them, so hopefully it'll work for you! ^_^ Good luck!
