Heero nodded and stepped forward to the edge of the balcony. He looked down at the Gundams spread out below him and wondered if this was a good idea or the worst one he?d ever heard of?or a bit of both?
?Heero!?
Midii Une waved up at him. Heero raised his hand in greeting. Midii was working with the Preventers, assisting them in getting the Gundams fully operational. Heero had to grudgingly admit that whoever designed these things put the scientists to shame.
?Well what do you think??
Heero didn?t turn aroud?he didn?t need to in order to know who was standing behind him. That voice had kept him awake every night for most of his young life. Dr. J looked at his former prodigy with the careful scrutiny of a teacher.
?They?re killing machines,? Heero growled turning to him. Dr. J nodded.
?But these are more advanced killing machines,? he said wisely and came up to stand by Heero. ?I see you?ve traded in field work for a desk job,? he said. ?Disregarding of course that this ?desk job? is simple directing other people to do your work.?
Heero let all the anger and fear drain from him and went back into solider mode. His eyes deadened to that impossibly icy shade of cold blue. All his muscles waited for any signal or trigger to spring into action and kill.
?Heero could you come down here?!? Midii called. She saw the old man next to him and knew enough from Trowa to put two and two together to realize that this old man was obviously a scientist. Heero nodded and turned to walk out of the room.
?You can?t escape it boy, I trained you well,? Dr. J said.
Heero nodded before turning and walking into the stairs.
Relena walked into the room with the Gundams.
?Relena!? Midii called her over. ?What do you think??
?I?m not to sure about this,? Relena admitted involuntarily clenching and unclenching her fists. ?But why don?t you tell me about them? I?m sure they?ve changed since the last time I saw them.?
Midii smiled and led her over to one. Relena walked behind it as Midii continued to explain. Midii called Heero down and for the first time Relena?s heart didn?t stop in her throat.
?Yes Midii??
Relena?s head jerked up. She knew Heero well enough by now to recognize something was wrong with his voice. Relena looked out from behind the Gundam and saw Heero. He looked at her with his dead eyes and Relena strode forward.
?Heero?? she asked the unvoiced question and Heero didn?t say anything. Relena looked up to see Dr. J standing on the balcony. The old man waved at her and Relena?s fists clenched and stayed that way. ?Exscuse me,? she said and walked towards the stairs, wretching the door open and letting it slam behind her, the sound echoing throughout the hanger.
?Hello Miss Darlian,? Dr. J said nodding his head in greeting.
?It?s Peacecraft now,? Relena said through gritted teeth. ?What are you doing here??
?So direct, so direct,? Dr. J shook his head. ?Well I came to see how my Gundam is?and how Heero?s doing. But don?t worry, the other pilots are getting their own visits.?
Relena turned and ran down the stairs. She signaled her assistant.
?Call the Gundam Pilots?tell them they?re getting visits from ?old friends? understood?? Relena said. Her assistant nodded and went off to make the calls. Relena looked over to see Heero staring into the face of his Gundam. She walked forward and stood by him, laying a hand on his shoulder.

The room was silent. Relena lay alseep inside, streatched out on her massive canopy bed. The room was painted in soft colors and elegantly decorated. However, the figure at the window was not in the least bit concerned with the decorations and focused on the woman in the bed.
He slipped inside and quickly slipped the cloth soaked with chemicals over Relena's face. He picked her up and walked back out the door--and into the night.
Chief Engineer Tsubarov closed his eyes and leaned against the wall, breathing heavily. Lying by his feet was a long box. Inside was every plan he'd need to build the greatest army of mobile suits ever. The GUndam Pilots were out of commision--each having found their own way in the world that didn't include a Gundam.
Now the final step was rounding up the remnants of Nikol's plan. Tsubarov had to give the boy credit--his plan was a very good one and just needed someone with common sense like himself to pull it off.
That and a few Gundams, some good weapons and a few good soilders.
'Now then, I wonder where Meizer is?'
Heero was bent over his computer, his fingers hitting the keyboard with rapid and careful taps.
"Tap tap tap, that sound always annoyed me," Dr. J said from the doorway. Heero didn't look up.
"What are you doing here?" he asked coldly.
"It's interesting you ask that now instead of before," Dr. J growled storming foward and quickly disconnecting Heero's computer. Heero glared at him but didn't say anything, he could get the work back easily enough. "Well now, why am I here? Could it be because you paraded around as a girl for a few months?! Or maybe because you let Nikol blow himself up but failed to nutrelize the threat!"
"Dressing as Midii Une was necessary to complete the mission," Heero said coldly. "And Nikol's organization is disbanded."
"Disbanded does NOT mean nutralized," Dr. J growled. "You've slipped boy. You've slipped very far and it's up to me to bring you back again."
"I will not be a monster," Heero said firmly.
"You have no choice," Dr. J said simply. "I've contacted an old friend who will help me train you."
"I am not going to be trained by you," Heero said. "Or your friend."
"Fine then," Dr. J said standing up. "Let Miss Peacecraft die."
"What?" Heero stood up knocking the chair over.
"Oh did I forget to mention? I took her--call it insurance--so you would train again," he said laughing. "You'll get her back when this is over."
Dr. J walked to the doorway.
"Come on boy."
Heero silently cursed himself and followed Dr. J out of the room.

Heero stood errect in the middle of the room.
"Alright J, where is he?" a rough voice growled.
"In here," Dr. J said easily and led him down the hallway and into the room. "This is him."
"His name?" he asked.
"Heero Yuy."
The man glared daggers at Dr. J, clearly annoyed.
"Odin Lowe Jr." he said.
"Will you shut up? Odin Lowe never had a son, the old man couldn't possibly have a boy," the man said and strode over to Heero, gripping his chin with his fingers and turning his head from one side to the next. "Besides he doesn't look a damn thing like Odin."
"He was found by Odin and raised as his own," Dr. J said and pushed the man's hand away. "Now what do you need Master Long?"
"What we have in here should be sufficient for now," Master Long said easily. "Now boy, I know what your file says and what you say so I'm not going to ask you that. However, you are going to have to prove it to me before we move foward."
Relena looked around the house where she was being held captive. It was furnished nicely and had a slightly cozy feel. But she knew guards were inside--she just didn't know where.
A soft knock on her door made her jump a mile in the air.
"Miss Peacecraft?" a male voice called. "May I come in?"
"Yes," Relena called back quickly, not wanting to anger the guard. The door opened quickly and a young man stepping inside. Relena stared at him--he looked about the same age as any of the Gundam Pilots. "Who are you?" Relena asked standing up.
"Walker Miss Peacecraft," he said offering a hand. Relena shook it cautiously. "I'm not going to harm you Miss Peacecraft--though I don't suppose you believe that."
"No," Relena admitted.
"Well that is understandable. However, let me tell you why you're here."
Relena looked at him quickly.
"You're here as inscentive for Heero Yuy to train again," Walker said. Relena stared at him.
"No," she said and walked over to the door. "I will not stand by and be used as bait so Heero can become a monster again."
"Miss Peacecraft," Walker slammed the door shut and stood in front of it. "Will you listen to reason? Why do you think Dr. J came to Heero? Or any of the other Gundam Pilots?" he sighed and rubbed his eyes. "The rather phsychotic Tsubarov--the old Oz Cheif Engineer and devoloper of mobile dolls. He worked with the Romerfeller Foundation and now he's back with your brother's old head mechanic who knows those mobile suits inside and out. He's got the remnants of Nikol's organization. The pilots are needed again to nutralize the threat."
"He doesn't deserve this," Relena said coldly.
Walker nodded glumly.
"I know," he sighed. "But this has to happen."
"How do you fit into this?" she asked.
"I used to work for your brother actually," Walker said. "I was shot on the Corsica Base a while ago," he shrugged. "I promised Zec--Millardo that I'd keep an eye on you."
"He know's I'm here?!" Relena cried.
"No no no," Walker said hurridly. "He knows you were taken--so was Nion and some of the other girls. I swore I'd make sure the guards didn't overstept their bounds."
"You're a bodyguard?"
"More like a mole," Walker said.
"How--how do I know you're not lying?" Relena demanded furiously.
"Lt. Nion!" Walker called.
"Yes Walker?" Nion came inside looking very angry. Behind her three guards were lying uncocnious on the ground. "Relena!"
"Nion!"
Relena and Nion hugged tightly while Walker stood a bit back.
"I see you two met," Nion said. "Walker served under your brother," Nion said motioning to him. "I assume you heard why he's here?"
"Yes."

Midii Une==Former Alliance Member who killed Trowa's mercenary troop after they took her in. Trowa tried to kill her but found he couldn't. She hid as Nim and kept watch over Mariemaia's remaining GUndams. Now engaged to Trowa and adopted mother of Mariemaia
Mariemaia==Dekim Barton's pawn. Made an army of Gundams, realized she was a pawn and get shot. Kept a few GUndams as 'insurance'. Adopted daughter of Trowa and Mariemaia after Lady Une's death.
Nikol==Lady Une's former worker. He thought she was going soft and tried to get her out a few times before she had him thrown away. Started an organization, failed at it and blew himself up killing Lady Une.
Dorothy Catalonia==head of the Colony Inteligence Agency, Dorothy is still as firce and furious as she was in the series. She's good at her job and doesn't take any BS from ANYONE.

Heero lay flat on his back and controlled his breathing, falling asleep quickly. His hands were bloody and bruised, his breath was a little ragged--but then again he was lying suspended approximately 3000 feet in the air so that was understandable. He had until tommorow to sumit the mountain, get what was on top and climb back down. Unkown to Relena were Heero's rather interesting companions, the best of which was a very angry Millardo Peacecraft who didn't take being kidnapped by a supposedly dead ancient Chinese woman lightly.
Heero and Millardo, as fate would have it, were almost equally matched in their abilities. What Heero had in tbrutality Millardo had in common sense. Master Long paired the two up together more than either would have liked. Millardo was lying a few feet away, his blond hair pulled back and his eyes closed.
In the house Midii Une was pacing furiously. She was going to wear a hole in the carpet soon.
"Sit still!" barked a voice.
"Shut up!" Midii snapped and continued to pace. Finally she could stand it no longer and flipped out her communication link. Snapping the device open she punched in numbers furiously and held the device to her ear. The guard could hear but couldn't see her.
"?llo?" a heavily accented voice asked.
"Finn?" Midii whispered.
"Midii! You were on the news love did you know that?"
"Now isn't the time," Midii hissed.
"But of course, what can I do for you today?"
"I need a favor."
*click* a dial tone was the next thing she heard. Midii let out a roar of frustration and punched in the code.
"If you don't do this I swear to god you'll wake up with most of your body missing you street rat!"
"I do not appriciate that tone!"
"Shut up!"
"That's what this is for!"

"You trace this call and get your street rat bum down here this instant or Dorothy will hear about this and you'll have Colonie Intelegence after you as well as every Bounty Hunter in this galaxy!"
"Alright alright alright. I'll be there tommorow love."
"Good and Finn--don't be late."
"Wouldn't dream of it love."
Finn turned his ship The Destiny Seeker towards earth. The signal had come from a place called Venice, Italy and that's where they were headed. Finn was another member of Duo's old gang who had also watched Solo die. While Duo went to Maxwell Chuch, Finn continued onto the streets. He eventually stumbled on the ship that would become The Destiny Seeker and gathered up a small trustworthy crew. They could be called smugglers, theives and general un law abiding citizens of space--or just Ulacs.
"Finn where we goin?" one asked.
"We are going to Venice, Italy. We've got some old friends to pick up," Finn said grinning widely. "And I'm fair sure they'll have some more work for us once we get there."
"Good because this is getting very very boring," Slyvia Novent growled standing up. Finn sighed at his second in command.
"Really must you be so dramatic?" he questioned.
"Shut up!"
