Pink Petals


Wondering just why she had come, Relena Peacecraft glanced up at the clock on the wall. He was 10 minutes late, which was quite out of character for Heero. Relena wondered again what exactly she was doing at this little coffee shop. Heero had called yesterday and asked her to meet him, specifying only the time and place, but divulging no further details!

Probably some "mission" or something. Relena thought, rolling her eyes. This sort of secrecy was right up his alley. But being late? No, something strange was definitely going on.

Heero Yuy stood on the sidewalk, letting his eyes roam over the pretty picture Relena made sitting over there, alone. He so rarely go to observe her outside a work environment, in casual clothes, her guard slightly down. Heero was tempted, in fact, to just not go inside, to linger at the window and watch her. But he had promised Duo and Hilde, who frankly, scared him more, that he would not put this off any longer.

And so, he took one last look at her, just in time to see her glance at the clock on the wall and sigh. Smiling faintly, Heero wondered if she had any idea what she was there for.

Relena, looked up hopefully as the bell on the door jingled. She smiled when she saw it was Heero(finally!), and knowingly made the day a great deal brighter for several other male patrons.

"You're late." She called ad Heero made his way to the table. To her great surprise, he grinned.

"I know...I'm sorry. I was outside, looking at your through the window." Heero smiled and bent down to kiss Relena on the cheek. Relena frowned. Although she and Heero had been dating for a few weeks now, he had never been a publicly affectionate person.

"So, what did you want to meet me about?" Relena asked.

Heero could see the questions in her eyes and decided not to draw it out any longer than necessary. It wasn't here, after all, that he wanted to be.

"Well, actually, I have a surprise for you. Do you know what today is?" Heero asked, smiling.

"The 20th?" Relena was now even MORE confused, if possible. Heero chuckled.

"No. It is the anniversary of the day we met. It's been exactly four years since you saw me on that beach. Four years since I said the words I would live to regret." Heero smiled ironically at the thought of his numerous death threats to the woman he had come to love.

"Ah, yes, that's right. How do you remember these things when I cannot?" Relena smiled across the table at Heero.

"I have a great memory, thanks to my past training. It gave me few things to be thankful for, but that is one of them. But enough of this... Are you ready for my surprise?" Heero asked.

"Of course. What is it?" a girlish excitement shone in Relena's sky blue eyes.

"It's not here. Will you come with me to my apartment?" Heero asked, hoping he had given Duo and Hilde enough time to prepare things there.

"Sure I will." Relena smiled, a bit apprehensively. The physical relationship between her and Heero had not yet progressed beyond several heated make-out sessions, due partly to the fact that they had never had enough time alone for more. But today she had no where else to be, and being in charge of Heero's schedule, she knew he had nothing either. Perhaps tonight would be the night that their relationship progressed to the next level.

As Relena followed Heero willingly from the coffee shop, Heero had to wipe his sweaty palms on his jeans. Hopefully, she would enjoy what he had planned, rather than being offended. It was a big risk, but one he considered worth taking. Again he hoped fervently that Duo and Hilde would be long gone by the time he and Relena got to his apartment.

"Did you drive here? Or did Pagan drop you off?" Heero asked.

"Pagan left me here. I told him you would probably take me home, so he won't be back unless I call him. So I'll just ride with you, shall I?" Relena said lightly, then linked her arm with Heero's as they walked to Heero's black F-150. Heero unlocked and opened the door for Relena and she climbed in.

Little was said on the drive to Heero's apartment, but the silence was a companionable one. Heero was going over what he would say to her when they got there in his head, while Relena was musing over what her surprise could be. Perhaps it was Heero himself? Her cheeks grew hot as her imagination ran away with her.

"You okay?" Heero asked, breaking her pleasurable thought process. "You look a little flushed."

"It's nothing. Just excited about my surprise, I suppose." Relena laughed nervously and turned away. ~I've GOT to keep my thoughts under control.~

They arrived at the apartment complex Heero lived in moments later. As Heero led Relena up to his 4th floor apartment, she amused herself by asking him question after question, trying to get him to reveal the nature of the surprise. Heero, however, would reveal nothing.

Heero pushed open the door to his apartment and stepped back to let Relena through first. Duo and Hilde, it seemed, had outdone themselves. Directly inside the door was a large bouquet of pink roses, some in full bloom, some still closed. Behind this was a path of pink rose petals, leading to the bedroom. From the slightly open door, a glow of candle light could be seen. Heero watched Relena's face, trying to gage her reaction.

Relena gazed around, taking in the pink roses; her favorite; and then saw the path leading to the bedroom. She smiled faintly. Her earlier musings seemed to have come true. She turned back to Heero to see him looking vaguely frightened, and realized that he must be worried about her reaction. She walked to him and put her arms around his neck, raising herself to her tip-toes to kiss him.

"You are so sweet! How did you do this?" she asked.

"I had a little help from Duo and Hilde." Heero replied, feeling very relieved that she seemed to like the surprise.

"So, I take it this means you want to move our relationship to the next level?" Relena asked teasingly.

"Only if you want to. I just thought this would be a wonderful way for us to celebrate our relationship... and I wanted to tell you... that I love you." Heero looked away as he said this, afraid that his openness would be rejected.

Relena felt her eyes fill with tears. She had waited a long time for this moment, and was not going to let it slip by. She took Heero's hand in her own and led him to the bedroom, which was bathed in the light of a dozen candles. Stopping at the foot of the bed, she put on hand to Heero's cheek and looked into his eyes.

"I love you too, Heero." she said, smiling. Heero smiled back, then leaned towards her.

Relena held her breath as Heero's lips descended to cover her own. The kiss started gentle and tender, but soon became more passionate and demanding as Relena allowed Heero's tongue access to her mouth. Their tongues danced with each other as Heero's hands began to roam over Relena's body. She gasped into his mouth as one hand slid over her breast, just brushing the nipple. Heero grinned silently and let his hand move more firmly over her breast. Relena stood passively for a moment, but then decided she was not content to let him do all the work.

Smiling slyly, she pushed him gently away so that the backs of his knees hit the edge of the bed.

"Sit." she said in a low, husky tone, then pushed him onto the bed. She approached him slowly, bending to unbutton his shirt and push it off his shoulders. She ran her hands over the well defined muscles she had uncovered, then dropped to her knees in front of him. Sliding her hands from his knees to the waist band of his pants, she smiled somewhat shyly at him, then began to undo the button-fly of his jeans. As his dark grey boxer-briefs and the bulge therein was revealed, Relena felt her cheeks heat once again, but quelled her shyness for the time being and started to push his pants down. Heero lifted his hips off the bed to help her along.

When his jeans had been kicked to the side, Relena cautiously reached one hand out and softly stroked the growing bulge between his legs. Heero moaned, causing Relena to jump back.

"I've... never really done this before." Relena said, not looking at Heero.

"You mean you're a virgin...?" Heero asked, putting two fingers under her chin and tilting her face so he could see her eyes. Relena smiled at him, then shook her head.

"No, but there has only been one other time. It was a fairly unpleasant experience. Neither of us knew what we were doing... But I don't want this to be like that. Can you help me?" Relena looked away again, her cheeks red as she asked the question. Heero smiled.

"Of course." Heero stood and offered his hand to Relena, pulling her to her feet. When she was standing in front of him, trembling slightly, he drew her against him with a hand at her waist. Heero once again put a finger under her chin, this time lifting her lips to his for a tender kiss. As the kiss continued, Heero's hand moved around the front of Relena's demure pink pants-suit. He slipped his hand up to the buttons holding the top of the suit closed and slowly unbuttoned them one by one, mimicking Relena's earlier removal of his shirt as he pushed it off her shoulders.

Pulling away slightly, he hooked his fingers into the waistband of her pants and slid them down over her slim hips. As they puddled around he ankles, she stepped out of them and stood in front of him, clad only in a pair of white cotton bikini panties and a matching bra. Heero sucked in a breath at her beauty and stepped forward to kiss her again. Relena sighed as she felt the heat of his skin against her own, then gasped as Heero unclasped her bra and moved one hand to cover her bare breast. Relena leaned into his hand as he began to knead the firm orb, then slowly started to move her own hands over Heero's body. Her soft, hesitant hands moved over his well-muscled back, then gradually lower to explore his buttocks.

Heero moaned and pressed his hips to Relena's, letting her feel his excitement as her hands crept into his boxer-briefs. Following her hands down, Relena lowered herself to her knees in front of him once again and he stepped out of the garment. Relena raised her eyes to meet his as she began to stroke his erect member. Heero watched her, until she leaned closer and took him into her mouth. As he felt himself enveloped in the warmth and moistness of her, he closed his eyes and moaned. Playing over Heero with her tongue, Relena closed her eyes to savor the feel and taste of him. Heero lowered one hand to twine in Relena's hair as he gave himself over to the pleasure.

After only a few minutes, however, he stopped Relena and lifted her into his arms. Carrying her the short distance to the bed, he laid her down gently. He pulled her panties down and off, noticing as he did so that the material was already damp. Pausing, he took a moment to gaze at her lovely body, her skin slightly flushed with arousal. Her arms were crossed over her chest in an unconscious effort to shield her body from view. Heero smiled softly and reached out to slowly pull her arms away and placed them at her sides.

Lowering himself next to her, Heero ran one hand over her breasts, then raised himself slightly to take one nipple into his mouth. Relena moaned and arched her back, placing a hand on the back of Heero's head to press him closer. As he suckled, Heero inched one hand down Relena's body, over her firm stomach to the apex of her thighs. Relena cried aloud as his fingers slid over her most intimate skin. Heero smiled around her nipple, then moved his fingers lower to dip into her wetness.

Relena clutched at Heero's shoulders for a moment before regaining her composure enough to reach down and wrap one hand around his shaft. As she moved her hand rhythmically on it, Heero began thrusting two fingers gently inside her at the same pace. Soon, the two of them were both moving their hips at each other, moaning and breathing heavily.

Suddenly, Heero pulled away form Relena and removed her hand from him, while at the same time, withdrawing his fingers from inside her.

"Is something wrong?" Relena asked, brow furrowed.

"No. It's just that if we had kept going, I wouldn't have been able to finish inside you, which is where I want to be." Heero kissed Relena and positioned himself over her. "Are you ready?"

Relena reached down to position Heero's shaft at her entrance. "I'm ready. Make love to me, please."

Heero looked into Relena's eyes as he eased himself inside her warm channel. The two lovers groaned in unison as Heero began to move, slowly at first. Soon, the pace was quickened as both of them became more desperate. Relena panted as she wrapped her legs around Heero's hips and thrust in time with him. Heero began to whisper Relena's name hoarsely as their joining became increasingly fevered. He knew that he would not be able to hold back much longer, but he wanted Relena's climax to come first.

Relena felt a pressure building within her that she was unaccustomed to, but she knew what was needed to ease it. She began to move even more frantically, answering Heero's cries of her name with cries of his. Then, suddenly, it was as if a damn had broken, flooding her senses with pleasure. She screamed out her release, clutching at Heero. Feeling Relena's inner muscles contract around him sent Heero over the edge, and he yelled her name as he spent himself inside her.

Afterwards, lying together on the bed, both of them felt a kind of contentment previously unknown to them. Feeling safer than ever before in each other's arms, they drifted off to sleep.
