Another angsty poem... *sigh* But true nonetheless...

Emotion

There?s nothing left
For me to give
I?ve given it all

Emotion
Has been stolen from me
What?s left is hidden
Underneath a smiling mask

I can?t feel sorrow
I have no more tears to shed

I can?t feel jealousy
I?m numb to it all

I can?t feel anymore hate
It?s all been taken away

Emotion
Is all gone
Taken away
By the ones who have hurt me

I?m just so scared
To show any at all
I just hide behind
A smiling face

Emotion
Buried deep inside of me
I?ve shoved all of it away
Just to keep myself sane

This would be a really good song. I'm sitting at home making up a melody for it right now, but I think I'll stop cause that's copyright infringement or something or another.

But I like it. Alot.

And it's a good thing nobody's home at my house, because I've been singing that song I made up with your lyrics really loud.

Really, really loud.

I've Been there. *shivers* It was a while ago and I'd like to think I've grown since then, but... that numbness never goes away completely. It's the fear of geting hurt, it holds you back and... *shakes head to brighten mood*

Another heartfelt poen that hits home. You have a real gift for capturing feelings into words. Great poem!

It's not. ^__^ For you to do anything wrong, she'd have to have the song licensed, and she doesn't have it yet.

That'd also mean that in order to GET the song licensed, she'd have to have a tune, so, really, you're helping her out.

Unless you stole the lyrics...made a catchy tune, and sent it to a publisher to send it to a copyright group to license it....

Then you'd be evil, and I'd hurt you. ^__^

I have become Trowa...I wear a smile as a mask, that way my true face can't be seen. I am a clown. I think that sums it up. You described the ice in my chest sometimes. Like it alot!
