(this fic is from Van's point of POV)As I lay here from day to day thinking of what I could have done to keep you with me I stare up toward the Mystic Moon or what you called Earth. I thought maybe if I wrapped you in my arms you would have stayed. I thought maybe if I actually showed my emotions to you you would be here. I look toward the Moon as it shines so bright.
"Van!" I heard your voice in my head. I picture you as you looked at me before you left. Your eyes filled with such love. I bet I didn't show anything but regret. Then suddenly It feels as if I am connected to you and I feel your heart beat along with mine. I hear you say my name as I say yours. It is like you are next to me and I can feel your presence. I look to the nightstand and see you pendant glowing. Maybe... just meybe you and I are connected. Then I wonder maybe you could hear my thoughts.
"Hitomi I miss you and I'm sorry I never told you but... I am in love with you and only you." I silently say to myself then I suddenly feel as if something inside me says that you are overjoyed. I figure that you heard me and I smile inwardly. I get up and walk up to the nightstand and grab the pendant. "Hitomi please... come back to Gaea. We need you... no I need you. My heart needs you." I say as the pink stone glows brightly. I feel you presence closer to mine suddenly, so I look out my window but I see nothing. Again my wish has not come true and this key to you has failed me once again. I bring my hand to my forehead then suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder. It feels like your hand. A hand that has a lot of love and passion to it.
"Van it's ok I'm here." I turn to see your face and tears begin to weld up. I grab you by the waist and bring you close to me. As our foreheads touch I smile as you look up at me.
"Hitomi I meant what I said. I missed you and I love you." I say as I kiss your soft lips and bring you closer to my longing body, if it is possible. I wrap my arms around you and deepen the kiss. You smile and kiss me back tender and lovingly. I will never let you go I say in my head as my emotion spill onto you. As we break for air you smile at me and touch my cheek lightly.
"Van, I missed you too. And I love you with all my heart." you say as you stroke my cheek lovingly. I close my eyes to feel your skin touch mine then decide right then and there. I let you go for just a moment and open a draw in the desk next to the nightstand. I pull out a small box then whirl around and take you into my arms. I guide you to the bed and sit you down. I take your hand as I kneel on one knee and lightly kiss it.
"Hitomi Kanzaki..." I begin as you look into my eyes with your eyes of emeralds of green. "will you marry me and become queen of Fanelia?" I open the box and take the ring that is adorned in diamonds and slip it on your delicate finger. you look to me as if you are lost in my eyes. Your eyes begin to shed tears. I lean foward and kiss them away. You wrap your arms around me and whisper I do. I smile and look at you to make sure you said what I heard. You nod and I lean in more to meet you lips in a heated kiss. A kiss I know will last forever because you last forever just like my love for you. My love will never die Hitomi never.
