When Caution is Not Needed part 3
Relena faintly noted that she was clinging to Trowa.
This could very well be a good think. "Relena? Could you let go of me?" Then again......maybe not.
Relena thanked the gods that the electricity fell out, so Trowa could not see the heavy blush while she released him from her grip.
"Sorry." She mumbled under her breath, trying to control the butterflies in her stomach. Get a hold of yourself Relena! He's gay! He won't ever like you. She winced at those words. Her inner voice was right. He could never like her.
She felt her heart break, unconsciously she had hopped he was not gay, and might like her.
Relena felt tears swell up, and she had to control her breathing as to not let Trowa know she was going to cry.
"Please excuse me." She said before walking up the stairs to her room.
She reached the room quickly and she finally let the tears run down her cheek.
She didn't stop the sobbing. She needed this to get out. She needed to cry for her not returned love.
That night she cried herself to sleep.
***The Next Morning.****
Trowa woke up slowly and raised himself from his large bed.
He hadn't slept well. He kept thinking about Relena, and why she left so suddenly. Maybe she had noticed he was nervous.
When she had grabbed him, a strange feeling lifted from his belly and made him feel disoriented. It felt so....not like him. At that unnerved him.
He lifted himself from the bed before walking towards the bathroom.
He turned on the shower before stepping under the warm water and tried to relax under it's soft ministration.
Almost half an hour later, Trowa gave up on the relaxing part and turned of the shower. His muscles still felt rigid and every movement made him ache. He definitely had to get used to such a soft mattress.
Turning his neck around, he tried to get rid of the cramp that started there. But to no avail. He probably had to endure that torture for the rest of the day.
Making his way downstairs, he noted Relena was not yet out of bed.
He had heard her cry herself to sleep, why he did not know. But she would tell him if she needed to.
Trowa decided to make breakfast for both of them, maybe that would help his muscles relax.
Relena opened her eyes slowly. And stared at her ceiling for the next 15 minutes.
Suddenly her mind came awake and realized she had heard the shower run for her whole awakeness. Re raised an eyebrow, maybe Trowa liked showering.
Speaking of Trowa, she had realized yesterday night that this lost love might turn out in a good friendship.
You never had enough friends, at least that's what Hilde always said. And it's better to have many friends, than many enemies, that's Duo's philosophy.
She smiled painfully, she would start her new mission today.
Somewhere in the back of her mind she heard the shower stop. And the shower taker walked downstairs.
Relena started to dress and the sweet smell of bacon and eggs filled her nostrils. Her stomach growled loudly. I quess I'm hungry. She shrugged, before turning to go downstairs.
"Goodmorning Trowa." She said cheerfully to the man in the kitchen.
He nodded to her. "Goodmorning." He returned.
He watched her skeptically as she opened a drawer and cabinet. And picked up some plates, knives and forks. He didn't expect such a cheerful Relena. He usually had the gift to make people talk to him. He assumed he was a good listener. At least that's what others said, when they spilled their heart to him.
Relena resumed her cheerful whistling while she made the table and seated herself on one end.
Trowa placed himself on the other side of the table and started to eat his breakfast. "Slept well?" She asked him.
He looked at her before deciding to tell the truth...no use telling a lie. "Not really. I'm not used to those soft mattresses."
Relena raised an eyebrow. "Really? I could get you another mattress if you like?" Trowa shook it's head. "I'll get used to it. I'm more used to stone and ground." Did he just make a joke.
Relena had to repeat the sentence in her head time and time again. When Trowa finally gave up hope for her to laugh. She did, very loudly and whole heatedly.
Her laughter made him feel proud. He had never heard her laugh, and the sound was intoxicating. He couldn't keep his eyes of her.
When she finally came to and whipped away a few tears of mirth. She looked in his eyes before her face turned into a serious expression.
"Trowa?" She asked him unsure.
He looked at her once again. No words were needed for her to know he was listening.
"Why does your neck look so rigid?" She asked, curiosity in her voice.
He raised his eyebrow on her unusual question. "As I said I'm not used to those soft mattresses."
"Shall I give you a massage."
He nearly choked on her offer. But after some inspection of her facial features he saw that her offer was genuine.
After some careful consideration he had to admit he could use a massage.
"Alright." He said, and she smiled. A smile brighter that the sunlight. If he looked at it, he felt like he needed sunglasses.
They ate their breakfast and washed their dishes. And everytime he looked at Relena he felt a faint feeling. A tiny trace of the feeling he felt last night. And he suddenly started to wonder if the massage was such a good idea.........
Relena grabbed his arm and started to pull him upstairs.
He didn't understand what she was doing, but followed her anyway.
The he saw that she was walknig towards to a door with a label on it. "Massage Room." it stated.
He swallowed.
Relena opened the door and released the hold on the poor Trowa. "Lye down." She said, pointing at massage bed.
He laid down as he was told and waited what was next.
He heard Relena giggle and turned his head to watch at her. The pain in his neck made him winch.
"What?" He asked.
"You do need to take your shirt off." She stated with a smile.
He blushed ever so slightly, Relena didn't even notice.
He sat up and removed his shirt before laying down once more.
Relena looked calm on the outside, but on the inside she was a mess.
Would he think this as something else that a friendly gesture? Of course he doesn't he's gay remember?! The question is if YOU think of this as something else as a friendly gesture!
1-0 for the inner voice.
Relena opened a cabinet door and picked out some massage oils. She placed them onto a cart and pushed it towards Trowa.
She picked her favorite oil and placed it on her hand.
Wow, look at those back muscles.......Snap out of that Relena.
She started massaging his neck, and she was grated with some nice moans and grunts.
Trowa could not believe the hands on this girl, she really reached the aching spots. She was able to push out all the knots without the slightest pain. And it felt soooooo good.
He caught himself wondering what else she could do with those hands. But before he went there he had metally slapped himself already.
Relena started on his back and pushed out the knots around his spinal cords with her thumbs and palms.
Trowa was hypnotized by the movements of her hands and the smell of the oils. They made him feel kind off......aroused. And he wanted to do stuff to Relena that he had never wished with another girl.
These feeling were quite....new.
He suddenly turned around and looked Relena right in the eye. He noted her shocked expression. He raised himself on his elbow. His face very close to Relena's. And she didn't move.
Inch by inch he moved closer. Very close to her small pink lips.
