What is your favourite Inuyasha theme thong (opening or ending)? And why that one?

1. Every Heart (Japanese)
2. Every Heart (English)
3. Change the World (Japanese)
4. Change the World (English)
5. Dearest
6. My Will (Japanese)
7. Fukia Mori (Japanese)
8. WHY
9. My Will (English)
10. Fukia Mori (English)

Well, basicly I like all the songs, but the English version of My Will and Fukia Mori aren't direct translation, and if they were they'd be much better. Each song is good if you actually listen to the words, so thats why my list is so long, I can't decide my most favorite song soooo

I think my hands down favorite Inuyasha theme song is going to have to be "Change the World" by V6. Why? I just downloaded the live performance video of it.

Imagine, six Japanese pretty boys gyrating in unison and giving this song their all.

Probably had a really rousing pep talk beforehand.

Ya wouldn't see that kind of service from Areosmith. No sireee!

Dang, I can't believe no one has said Dearest by Ayumi Hamasaki, the song is just so beautiful....

Oh, if it's pretty you want then my vote woul be "Fukai mori" by DOA. Unusually flexible voice for a Japanese artist.

Well theres alot to the song. How life batters you with all these troubles when love is the only thing that matters. How these things make people sad, and make you have to cling on to love more and do anything to keep it.

Most of all, like the title says, its about your dear one. How that peson makes you feel and how thinking of them make things seem better and so you have to keep thinking of them "until someday I reach eternal sleep" (I don't speak Japanese -yet. But I try to decode it

)

However I find most Japanese song harder to interpret than Western, even if I know the lyrics. Probably coz Japanese songs partially evolved from Haiku which are full of deep complex imagery that tried to say alot with fewer words, where as western poems are more descriptive in their depiction and metaphor. :-?

I liked "Closer." At least I hope that's the name. It is a ending song for newer episodes. It took me some time to find it. I'll edit this post later if I got the song wrong.
