I know... I know, I'm late!
**
Her foot tapped impatiently as she leaned across the doorframe. Waiting for her charges of the week as they scrambled about their room trying to get dressed. Rather, as Miss ?Deidre? Maxwell flew about the room readying herself while Miss ?Haruko? Yuy waited just as patiently as her (with the exception of a few mumbled threats thrown Deidre?s way).
A small sigh broke through her thinned lips when she heard her stumble. After all they were only late to class by--- glancing at her watch--- seven and a half minutes. Oh! No hurry at all.
A few dark thoughts flitted about her head, just how she might mangle the girl for ruining her perfect attendance--- each one more tempting then the last. But she mentally waved them off as her mind turned to the events of the previous day. Her eyes quickly flicking to meet those of her other charge, Miss Haruko Yuy.
Strange--- even after learning the name of Miss Yuy from her companion, she still found the word hard to form her lips around. As if the name didn?t fit her at all.
Besides that, Relena found herself hard pressed not to glare at her--- even if she was on time. The girl had been silent the whole time of her arrival, not even a friendly ?hello? could be wrenched from the girl?s lips. Not that she had, had much luck the other day, but at least a one word syllable from time to time would have been more agreeable than the silent companion now standing before her.
She could distinctly recall herself saying ?hello, and how are you this morning?? nothing impolite, and after a silent minute or two, she had gone on to ask ?whether or not she would want to grab a quick breakfast or to take a quick tour of the building they would be having their first class in?? But to her annoyance, the girl had done nothing but turn away and ignore her attempts at any and all conversations.
Not that it?d mattered much.
Miss Maxwell, they later found was still asleep in her room, softly snoring as the loud noise of the radio blurted from time to time--- which would attain for the reason as to why they were now waiting outside of the room annoyed and disgruntled as she not only made them late, but without time to even grab a quick breakfast snack.
Relena, yet again, ignored another crash from the room--- hoping that it was nothing more than her imagination rather than the girl?s failed attempts at getting ready.
In an attempt to ignore the struggles within the room, Relena imagined herself drinking a large steaming cup of coffee, which in response seemed to awaken the taste buds running along her tongue. Her stomach growled in response to the enticing imagery playing across her vision.
It was this reason alone that she almost didn?t notice Miss Maxwell?s final arrival. The hallway seeming to echo with the loud chirp of ?Good Morning.? She looked relatively nice with her clean uniform and neatly combed and braided hair. Nothing like the girl she and Miss Yuy had woken not ten minutes before. A small smile threatened to break across her face, remembering the small ordeal it was to wake her. Instead only a small twitch of the lips signaled her amusement, even when she recalled the loud threats Miss Yuy had yelled beside the poor girls ear as she continued to snooze away.
It wasn?t until after Miss Maxwell's eyes flickered open, that Miss Yuy realized who else was in the room, her hands coming to grasp her wrist as she pulled the two of them out into the hallway.
The action struck her as odd, although she couldn?t find anything strange about the situation to begin with--- but in the end it didn?t matter, as the trio was all found to be ready for class (albeit, without breakfast)!
Moving a few feet, then turning--- she glanced at the both of them before politely smiling at them, ?Well, now that you?ve decided to join us Miss Maxwell, I think it time that I show you two to our first class of the morning.?
Miss Yuy silently nodded, acknowledging her for the first time that day--- Relena found her smile widen a bit, content with the small gesture. While all this occurred, Miss Maxwell took it upon herself to question her about the classes they would be taking that day.

?Lighten up, its not that bad,? Duo whispered from his left.
Heero on the other hand was in complete disagreement. Somehow, without having wondered what sort of classes they would be required to take at St. Ann, he had ended up in Independent Living. The single most boring class he had ever had the pleasure to take. He needn?t even of guessed who had decided a few of the extra curricular classes they would be taking this semester.
Turning way from the still whispering Duo, he grunted in response, his eyes glancing every now and then to the woman and her monotonous speech on how to cross stitch, and when to do so.
Heero glance found itself turning to look for Relena, his eyes watching as she appeared to listen to the teach with all her attention--- if not for the slightly glazed look, he might have been fooled by the performance. Not that he cared whether she enjoyed the class or not, he once again found himself turning away from his peer--- opting that Duo was a much more interesting subject to study as Relena at that moment (having felt the weighty stare) turned to stare right back.
To his annoyance, it only appeared to give Duo the idea that he was actually paying attention to the one-sided conversation they always seemed to be having, ?Come on Heero, at least we?ll get an easy A.?
Heero, having actually heard the last statement, mumbled a quick sentence to the boy. Although stunned by the quiet words, Duo leaned forward--- his voice dropping a notch, ?What was that??
?Don?t say my name,? it only served to befuddle what was left of Duo?s brain, his eyes gazing at him with confusion as he tried to work out what was wrong with saying Heero?s name, until finally realizing that the two of them had an audience.
Not just Relena, but every now and then, a few girls would turn to whisper after peering at the two of them from time to time. Heero wasn?t in the least unnerved, although he rather wished that they ignored them--- or at least him, as he wasn?t use to being stared at. In a sign of annoyance, he turned to rest his eyes on the teacher, his hand absentmindedly coming to twirl one of the long locks of hair from his wig.

In the mean time, Relena was hard pressed not to look away from the two of them, especially the ever-silent Miss ?Haruko? Yuy. She was an odd puzzle if anything; there was a rough look to her--- something she hadn?t seen in any of the girls that attended Lady Ann?s. And it was this same quality she found in Miss Maxwell too.
In fact, the only persons she could ever account the similar appearance with, was with a few of her brother?s friends from school that she had met on one occasion or another. If anything, Miss Yuy?s and Miss Maxwells appearance greatly reminded her of them; the more she gazed upon them. And she couldn?t understand why it bothered her.
She could feel the answer slowly working itself to her mind--- the answer to their strange outer appearance finally coming to a pivotal part of her brain. And it was then, that she knew she had the answer--- her eyes widening as she looked at them.
The astonishment of what this could mean, finally making itself known.

AN: Ugh! That wasn?t a very good chapter at all--- but it is what it is. I?m just glad I finally got around to updating this. I?m sorry this took so long, as some of you know I?ve been mighty busy--- not to mention I?m working on two other fics I promised to finish. (Not that I haven?t gotten side tracked from them as well, ^_^)
Thanks for reading, and I?m sorry it?s so short.

Guh. I remember when I was forced to take sewing in high school.... (they wouldn't let me take team sports instead).
Heh. Heero and Duo are going to catch a lot of heck pretty soon, I imagine. Fun times.

Whoa! Can't wait to find out Relena's action.
Sewing.
*sigh*
I could probably get an 'A', if I learned it well. Not that I have. Don't do sewing.
