WW- Because the sound waves get distorted by the fan blades. I loved doing that as a kid!

I'm the year of the Dog (go me) and a Leo through and through. Even my rising sign and moon signs are Leo. Rawr! *admires self because that's what lions do* 8)

Because the sound waves are being bounced off each individual blade. And with the blades going as fast as they do, it's almost a continuous sound. That about sums it up.
