Ok, maybe this will help: I don't like things that are really retarded and predictable. I have seen some old DBZ and it's almost impossible to watch. Also, the fighting stuff is alright, as long as there's a plot to go with it. Um, I don't mind the silly cuteness of FB, as much as I hate to admit it. I like weird, funny, random yet logical, intelligent stuff.

Maybe it would help to tell you some non-anime things I like: Star Wars, Monty Python, Law and Order, the Simpsons, Iron Chef, the Princess Bride, Val Kilmer in anything, Goodfellas, practically any movie from the 80's, Lord of the Rings, Final Fantasy games, My Little Ponies, Care Bears and Rainbow Brite.

Haha. There's a good variety of crap. Feel free to recommend stuff and to make fun of my ridiculous taste. :oops:

Dear Lord, MizAYA, you're list of "crap" sounds suspiciously like my list of "crap." Okay I don't watch the Iron Chef, and never cared for Goodfellas but the rest are pretty much what I like. Okay so I'm not all that into Final Fantasy but it's because I haven't gotten around to them.

No vampires huh? Then Hellsing isn't for you I suppose. Ever try Fushigi Yuugi? It's fantasy, romance, action/adventure, and bits of comedy thrown in. Oh yeah, and tons of bishi's galore!!

Scrapped Princess is rather new and hasn't shown that much of a strong fanbase here in America (that we know of since it's all fansubbed) but it's pretty good. It's a mixture of medieval with futuristic aspects and humor as well as drama.

I'm still relatively new to the anime scene as well so I'm trying to catch up on old stuff while exposing myself to newer incarnations.

Right now my mind is drawing a blank. Then again I just got home from my Physical Science class where we discussed ROCKS!!! for 3 hours.

I still say it's all about Vicious.

OH you HVAE to watch Escaflowne.....its SOOO good....also If you ever seen Generator Gawl its not well known but its really good. Yeas GW is A MUST. If you like artistic ones try NOIR really boring and slow in some parts but in others its soo good. ME love love it....

Thanks for the suggestions! You've given me things to distract me for a good couple months. Zap has a list of other animes that she is going to make me watch, like Escaflowne and GW, but she hadn't given me too many other ones. She says that Inuyasha is too drawn-out, but I think it looks interesting, as well.

Wicked- you're not supposed to tell me that Vicious dies! I haven't seen the last episode yet! *Is waiting for it to be on in 6.5 hours*. Cartoon Network already partially spoiled it and wrote in their retarded intro things that Spike dies. I'm crushed! Oh, and do you not like science? Learning about rocks for 3 hours sounds fun to me, but then I haven't taken a non-science class in like 2 years. I'm such a nerd. I'm also wearing a Darth Vader shirt that I bought in the little boys dept at Target, which doesn't help my case, either. Well, at least I'm just a closet nerd. The general public thinks I'm normal. Little do they know....I'm evil! :evil:

Yeah, so I'm trying to cut back on the crack, but I'm such a fiend! :eek:

Ninja, I'm sure we've had that fight many a time. I'm right of course so I understand you're eagerness to start it all up again. :roll:

But you see Mizaya, I didn't tell you that Vicioius dies. I said that he didn't croak because I said so. There's a difference in there. Trust me on this. :wink:

Shinigamigrul, it's not really Geology. It's Earth Science. Wow, big difference eh? I don't mind Biology so much. Hell I took Forensic Pathology and I loved it. I wish I was still taking it, every freakin' semester.

The one snippet of an episode I saw of FLCL I though I was on crack. It was just a little too strange for me. I said, "Moving on." And I haven't looked back since. I personally don't know much about Kare Kano or too much about Excel Saga (other than it's supposed to be uber hilarious).

Excel Saga is awesome! IlPalazzo is the MAN! The MAN I say!

FLCL also rules, it's short and sweet and yes made by people on crack. But I'm so much like Haruko Haruhara, I have to watch it.

Wow, so I decided to reread my intro to figure out how stupid I sounded only a few months ago *sigh*. It's kinda funny, because I have actually seen most of the anime that you guys suggested, or like half of it anyway. I've of course seen GW and I fell in love with it (and Trowa). I also managed to get all of FLCL and Bebop on tape. I've seen a bit more of Inuyasha and Trigun (still not hooked on them, though) and a little Escaflowne and that damn uberly cute Card Captor second movie. Still like Furuba best, though. Can't help myself! Haru and Kyo are just bishi greatness. :wink:

Yeah it is kinda scary going back and rereading your own intro let alone your own stories. O__O It's very scary indeed.

Oh and if no one has told you: Trowa is mine. ~_^

I myself have gotten around to watching Excel Saga. I'm not what you would call hooked but I'm into it, enough so that I want to start collecting the manga. Never really got into Trigun myself but I think I was always online whenever it came on CN and I didn't (and still don't) have cable in my room. I do like Inuyasha though. Not as diehard as some people but I do like the characters and their relationships nicely.

Furuba is still a wonderful series (Akito, Yuki, Hatori, and Shigure *drool*). I still need to buy the first 3 DVD's though. And I still stand by Hellsing. Vampires will forever rule my heart. ^___^

Cowboy Bebop = Vicious. Vicious = THE MAN NO MATTER WHAT NINJA HAS TO SAY ABOUT HIS SHOES!!! :razz:

And I have yet to see Escaflowne myself. I need to get on it I suppose.

And I'm uber happy that they're going to release Angel Sanctuary (the manga) here in the US!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
