Prologue



Like the newly discovered black hole, no light can escape it. No force of any kind can escape it, unless it?s a force of its own. Forced to be held within the depths of nothingness, there exists Shadows?there exists nothing but darkness and everything that represents the darkness and death; the dying souls of souls and dead souls of souls are forced to thrive and feed on each others energy.
Elders of the old, Elders from many realms and behind precious veils have figured a way to keep the Shadows away from the rest of the universe. Though smaller veils have been disappearing, the lesser of the kind are nothing more than a mere shadow. But to a weak soul, it?s a nightmare?


AC 205

Tossing and turning?turning and tossing?it was Relena?s waltz every night for the past six weeks.
A waltz?a beautifully dreaded waltz?filled with the dreaded silence and coldness of the depths of voided light. Within these depths of darkness she heard whispers and screams?rolling thunder of the arrival of a storm.

??within, there will be silence?? Over and over?those were the words of the whispers.

Relena walked along a pathway within a cavern that looked nothing of how the world on the outside looked. It shone with beauty like a ray of sunlight passing through a clear quartz crystal. Above her was an endless pass of stone, no way for a ray of light to pass through and cause such a glow. But as she looked behind her, all she could see was darkness.

??Relena??

She turned and listened.

??Relena??

The voice of a soft spoken woman beckoned her closer towards the light. She looked
back and found a shadow staring her in the eyes?

????????.
Relena awoke with a start, awakening the occupant beside her. She looked over to him and stared at his eyes with confusion and fear. He looked back at her with worry.

?Are you alright,? he said softly. He reached out and touched her cheek gently, and was shocked at how cold her skin felt to his touch. ?Relena, are you all right??

?Heero??

Heero sat up and pulled Relena in his arms to comfort and warm her. He stroked her head gently and whispered to her over and over again that it will be alright.

?I keep having the same nightmares over and over again, Heero. But they?re so hard to understand,? she whispered.

Heero just continued to whisper to her gently. ?I don?t know what they mean Heero.?

Relena curled up in his embrace and closed her eyes to try and ease her fears. But something didn?t feel right to her. ?Heero??

There was no answer.

Relena looked up and found Heero staring off into space. Relena sat up and placed a gentle hand on his cheek and called out to him once more.

?Heero?is there something wrong-?

??within, there will be silence?Relena?? Relena?s hand dropped from his face.

?How did you?? Heero?s hand shot forward and entered Relena?s womb evoking a cry of pain from her lips. Relena then realized that it wasn?t Heero she was looking at, but a shadow. Relena screamed as she watched the Shadow invade her very being throwing her violently to the very depths of darkness?
?????????.


?Nooooooooo!!!? The senator of colony L3 stopped mid-sentence and stared at Relena for her sudden outburst, as did other representatives and two Preventers.

?Miss Relena?is there a problem?? Relena looked around at her surroundings to find that she was at a meeting regarding her project on mars.

?I could?ve sworn I was asleep?? She looked over to Heero to find a concerned expression on his face. This was the fifth time this week that she?s had the very same vision and outburst.

?Miss Relena, I?ve asked if you were alright. Should we postpone this meeting to a later date?? Relena looked to all of the faces at the table and then back to her note pad. Before she gave an answer all too similar words were written on her tablet. A sudden chill ran down her spine as she read them over and over again.


?within, there will be silence?

Chpater 1-sneak peek

?Is it fear??
Still looking in the mirror Relena looked to her left to find a young woman about her age looking directly at her.
?I beg your pardon,? Relena asked as she finally looked over to the woman from the mirror, only to find that she, Heero and Trowa were the only occupants in the elevator. Confused, she looked back at the reflection to find that the woman was no longer there.

Relena closed her eyes to try and block out the tears....

I definetly want to know more!!! What are these shadows? And what do they have to do with Relena??? And will Heero and the gang be able to figure it out and help her? I hate all these questions, and there is really only one solution....
