He ran through the front door, knocking over the 4 guards in front of and behind the door. He ran down the hall and stopped when the hall split in 3 different directions, he heard more guards coming towards him from behind. He scanned the paths in front of him; he had to make the right choice fast. He couldn?t sense the jewel down the left or the one going straight, so he went down the right one. He could here the guards running not to far behind him. Once he got to the end of the hallway he found 2 doors. *Man, how many doors are in this place* He heard the Guards coming down the hall not to far behind and new if he didn?t find the jewel soon he would he would have to start fighting, and he really wasn?t in the mood to fight. He was hoping to get in and out without any trouble. He sensed the jewel through the door on the right, but he had to lose the guards so he broke the left door down making a loud crash, and quietly snuck through the door on the right. He waited at the door hoping the guards would fall for his trick. After a few moments he heard footsteps of the guards and one extra. He couldn?t put his finger on it but he new it wasn?t a guard but, he listened carefully to their conversation.
?Ok, you men go down the left hall and I will go down the right. He couldn?t have gotten far, and watch out he is either very crafty or very stupid!? felt very offended by this creature but, it didn?t sound like a guard or a male demon for that matter and there was no females except for one and she was the Lady of the East, Lady Kagome. And if he wasn?t mistaken she was just about the same age as he was. After a minute of thinking he relized that it was her, it was Kagome...
?Yes Ma?am? and they went their separate ways. But, something was wrong. Yoko Kurama could have sworn that she was going to come through the door but, she didn?t. *Awwww, the Lady can?t do things for herself and probably went to go get her daddy to help*
He smiled and continued running down the hall, until he came to the door that he knew had the Jewel behind it. And without hesitation he broke down the doors that held the jewel within, but stop cold dead in his tracks. *some one was there, between him and the jewel*
Kagome knew that Yoko Kurama was crafty and would probably try to trick them into to thinking that he went down another hall. So she went down a secret passage that she and her brothers only new about, which got her to the jewel faster than the regular passage. She turned around with a big smile on her face and??????.
?Surprise!!? she said to him, enjoying every moment of his surprise. ?Ho?.How did you beat me here?? ?OH, come?..come Yoko Kurama do you really think that I don?t have more than one way to get to the jewel that I protect faster than the regular passage!? she told him. He looked at her and began to walk closer to her. But, she didn?t move back or get intimidated by him getting closer. She got a little nervous when she saw his eyes change to a different color as he silently approached her. Once he got close enough he bent down closer to her face, he was only a few inches away from her face when he spoke again.
