All had gone according to plan. Dinner reservations were go. Moonlight, check. Romantic dinner music?. Where was the romantic dinner music?!?!?!? Quatre flipped.
?Dorothy?!? Where?s the music?? he screamed.
?How am I suppose to know? That was Hilde?s job. My job was decoration.? She snided.
?Well, where?s Hilde??
?I dunno. Helpin? Duo??
?Well, where?s Duo??
?Talkin? to Heero.?
Quatre fainted. His hard work had gone to waste. Soon the couple would be here, at this restaurant, on their first ever REAL date, and not all was going according to plan? Trowa splashed some water on Quatre?s face.
?Wake up. It?ll be fine. Wu Fie and I are on it.?
?Trowa, you?re a lifesaver.? Quatre breathed.
?I don?t really care for those. Try a different candy.? Trowa mumbled seriously.
?You were sooooo denied a childhood.? Dorothy muttered.
?This from the girl who never saw Lady and the Tramp.? Quatre implied.

Relena paced in her mansion?s garden, questioning why she was allowing herself to fall in love, only to have her heart ripped out again. She looked perturbed, and pensive. She was having major second thoughts about the date. Hilde, Sally, and Catherine were watching her, trying to guess what was wrong. They stopped her pacing by asking her.
?Lena? What?s the matter?? questioned Sally.
?Yeah. You look down for someone who?s about to have the night of her life.? Catherine commented.
?What?s up?? Hilde asked.
?I can?t do this?.. I can?t fall in love?I?.?, Relena stammered. ?I don?t love him.?
The girls gasped. How could this be? Surely she was joking?was she? They were about to bombard her with questions when music started playing.
?If there?s a prize for rotten judgment, I guess I?ve already won that. No man is worth the aggravation. That?s ancient history. Been there-done that.?
The girls had to stop this. She was singin? crazy talk?sing.
?Who do ya? think you?re kiddin?? He?s the earth and heaven to ya?. Try to keep it hidden, honey, we can see right through ya? Girl you can?t conceal it, we know how you?re feelin?, who you?re thinkin? of??? the girls sang.

?Ha! It?s too clich?, I won?t say I?m in love???I thought my heart had learned it?s lesson. It feels so good when you start out. My head is screaming ?get a grip, girl?unless you?re dyin? to cry your heart out??oh??
?If you are denyin? who you are and how you?re feelin?, baby, we?re not buyin. Hon, we saw ya? hit the ceilin?. Face it like a grown up! When ya? gonna? hold up that you?? the girls sang.
?got? screamed Hilde.
?got? chimed Catherine.
?got it bad?? the y all sang.
?Oh?.No chance, no way! I won?t say it!? Relena screamed. She smiled as she thought of his kiss?.
?Give up, or give in.? the girls grinned.
?Check the grin---you?re in love? Joked Hilde.
?This scene won?t play. I won?t say I?m in loooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeee!?
?You?re doin? flips! Read our lips you?re in love!? they pursued.

?Girl, don?t be down, it?s okay! You?re in love?..? they cooed.
This whole time, she had been running around the garden, trying to get the girls to leave her alone. However, they perused her, and never let her think that she was getting rid of them until she admitted it. Catherine had secretly grabbed Lena?s teddy, the one that Heero had given her, and slowly handed it to Relena. She took the bear, and slowly sat down on a bench.
?Ohhhh. At least out loud, I won?t say I?m in?love?.?
?Sha la! Sha la! Sha la! Sha la la la la, la, laahhhhhhh? the girls sang as they faded out.
Relena smiled.
?Well, girl, let?s go get you ready!? Hilde squealed, and yanked Relena back to her room.
?Yeah? I?m ready?.I think?..? They took Relena to get fancy?
Over at Heero?s, Duo was talking to the nervous gundam pilot.
?It?s okay, man. You?ll be fine. Ga-lee. I?ve never seen you like this before. You need to calm down.?
I am calm. I just? I just want everything to go perfectly.? Heero said.
?Don?t worry. We?ll all be there, making sure you?re right on par.?
?That?s what I?m afraid of.?
?There?s something else buggin? you, hero, man. What?s up??

?Wha?????? What to you mean you can?t tell me!?

Fun music started to play. Duo ran to get Heero?s karaoke mike, and started singing.
?You?ve got a friend in me. You?ve got a friend in me. You got troubles, then, I got ?em, too. There isn?t anything I wouldn?t do for you. If we stick together, we?ll see it through, ?cause you?ve got a friend in me. Now, some other folks may be a little bit smarter than I am??
?You can say that?I mean, sing that again?? Duo didn?t hear. He just kept on singing.
?Bigger, and stronger, too. Maybe?But none of them will ever love you the way I do, just me and you boy.?
?Oh, dear?Duo?.That?s gross?.?
?You?re sick, you know that? You know what I mean.? Duo pouted.
?Yeah, I know.? Heero smiled. Duo continued.
?And as the years go by, our friendship will never die. You?re gonna see it?s our destiny. You?ve got a friend in me. You?ve got a friend in me. Ya! You?ve got a FRIEND IN MEEEEEE!? The music stopped, and the guys finished getting ready. However, Duo forgot to ask Heero what the secret was. Heero liked it that way, though?.
?What if I feel the same way when we?re out. I mean, what if I suddenly realize that Heero could never REALLY love me? What do I do?? Relena questioned the girls. Dorothy responded:
?Quai, quai natorah. You will understand.? She sang.
?What?!!!????? Relena asked, completely confused. Hilde pushed Dorothy and told her to shut up.
?Listen with your heart. You will understand.?
?Oh, I get it, thanks you guys?.? She was ready. She had on a black sleeveless turtleneck, and some low riders jeans. (I?m hip. I know what it means to be ?in style?. MBF in DA HOUSE!!!!!)
She got in her car (whatever kind the reader prefers?a pinto, perhaps?) and headed out on her date.
All the guys, who tried to calm him down, joined Heero in his room. They reminisced on old times, you know, in the war, so they could get him settled down. Trowa started, and funny little Chinese music started playing.
?For a long time, we?d been blasting off to battle.?
?In an unjust war, I felt a lot like cattle.? Wu Fie complained.
?In outer space, our aching hearts weren?t easy to ignore! What did we want?? Duo sang.
?A GIRL WORTH FIGHTING FOR!? they all sang, even Heero.
?I wanted her paler than the moon, with eyes that shined like stars!? Heero sang.
?MY girl would MARVEL at my strength?adore my battle scars!? Duo screamed.
*group sweat drop*
?I couldn?t care less what she?d wear, or what she?d look like.? Quatre sang.
?That?s obvious.? Duo sneered.
Quatre pouted. ?It all depends on what is INSIDE!?
?Nasty, evil, brainless?OW!? Duo sang until Quatre pounded him.
The guys finished, and laughed at Duo, who always got hit. Heero was now remarkably calm. Unfortunately, though, he looked down at his watch.
?Ah! I?m late! I?m late! For a very important date! No time to say ?thank you?, GOODBYE! I?m late, I?m late I?M LATE!? He ran out the door to his car (again, whatever the reader wants?.) wearing blue jeans and a button down black shirt. (they matched!!! Ahhhhh?how cute!J)
Heero met a ticked Relena outside of the restaurant. She gave him ?the look?. (ladies, you know what I mean?.) He sweat dropped, and apologized.
?I?m so sorry. The guys were, and I was?.I?m sooooo sorry.?
?No big deal. They just gave our table away.? She looked like she was about to bite his head off.
He sweat dropped again.
?Well, I have another idea. Come on. I promise this will make up for everything.? He took her by the arm, and they set out. Relena was major confused, but allowed herself to be drug down to a sandwich shop. He ordered their food, and they were once again off. They finally reached a small wooded area that was secluded. This was where Heero came all the time to get away from the world. No one knew about this place. He told this all to Lena while he held his hand over her eyes. Unknown to the couple, the gundam group was once again following their every movement.
He removed his hand.
?Oh, Heero?.? It was a paradise. There was a small little lake, and a little tiny waterfall that fell into it. The foliage hung everywhere, making the place look magical. They sat underneath a weeping willow, and started the date.
?How sweet is this?? wept Hilde.
?I thought we were goners when he lost the reservation?? Quatre stammered.
?Heero?s gonna? get some! Heero?s gonna? get some!? Duo rapped.
?Heero?It?s all so magical?? Romantic music started, and Heero took Relena?s hand in his. ?I can show you the world. Shinning, shimmering, splendid. Tell me, Princess, now when did you last let your heart decide?? Heero sang. He guided her to a small cliff that overlooked the lake. ?I can open your eyes. Take you wonder by wonder, over side ways, and under on a magic Disney ride. A whole new world! A new fantastic point of view. No one to tell us ?no?, or where to go, or say we?re only dreaming!? he sang.
?A whole new world! A dazzling place I never knew!? she sang. He now led her up into a huge tree, where they were able to see the stars and the lighted city through the top of the foliage.
?But now from way up here, it?s crystal clear that now I?m in a whole new world with you!?
Two doves flew beside them, one landed on her arm. She admired it, while still singing, and gently lifted it back up to the wind.
?Unbelievable sights! Indescribable feelings!? She closed her eyes and imagined the two of them as the doves?
?Soaring, tumbling, free wheeling, through an endless diamond sky! A whole new world!?
He took held her waste, and put his head on her neck.
?Don?t you dare close your eyes!?
She smiled.? A hundred thousand things begin!?
?Hold your breath. It gets better!?
They both sang together. ?I?m like a shooting star! I?ve come so far! I can?t go back, I?m in a whole new world!?
?With new horizons to pursue!? Relena sang.
?I?ll chase them anywhere! There?s time to spare!? They sang in unison.
?Let me share this whole new world with you?? Heero sang to her, right in her ear. Se felt so protected.
?A whole new world..? she whispered. ?A whole new world?? he repeated.
?That?s where we?ll be?? ?Where we will be??
A thrilling change.?
?A wondrous place.?
?For you and me?..? they sang together before they closed their eyes and snuggled.
?This is boring. I can?t see them from here. The tree?s too high.? Duo pouted.
?Well, what can you do? There?s no way we can hear them without being seen.? Hilde responded.
The guys and girls were all lying on the ground with their respected couples.
?Get off me woman.?
?I?m not going to, and if you keep calling me woman, I?ll tell Hilde to talk to you all day long.?
?I SAID GET UP WOMAN!? he yelled, ignoring her.
?Hilde! Go ahead!? Sally screamed.
?Hey Wu-man! I just saw this really cool sweater, and I was going to buy it, but I didn?t have enough money, so I went to the bank, and they said that Duo had taken out all the money and
put it in a different place so that I couldn?t get to it, ?cause he knows I like to shop, I guess, so he his it from me. Anyway, I couldn?t get the money, so I was all like, ugggg, but then I saw some change in the street, so I started picking up all this change-dirty money, really. Filthy??
?Alright I give up, just SHUT UP!!?
?Shut up yourself, makes me wanna? throw up all over your mother?s wedding dress and make you lick it up?? Hilde whispered in a slur of words. Wu Fie didn?t hear. He was busy getting loved by Sally.
?I tell ya?. I?m going to see what?s going on up there.? Duo said, and ran off before they could catch him.
?The date?s ruined?.? They all said.
They had been sitting up in the tree for a while, and suddenly, Relena heart the wind and her heart talking to her. She stirred.
?What?s wrong?? Heero questioned.
?It?s?I?m listening?..?
?Let it rain upon you like the waves upon the sand?..?
?Something?s coming?.Strange clouds?? she whispered.
?What?? he asked. They didn?t need to wonder very long. Out came Duo covered in mud, floating up the tree using balloons. The couple stared in amazement.
?I?m just a little black rain cloud! Hovering over the willow tree. I?m just a little black rain loud! Pay no attention to me. Everyone knows that a rain cloud doesn?t like romance?no not a bit.?
?Heero?what is he doing??
?I don?t know. Close your eyes.?
She did as she was told, and he pulled her in to him. She heard many shots fired, a scream, and a loud thud.
?YOU SHOT YOUR BEST FRIEND!!!!!????????
?No. I just shot the balloons.?
?Oh. I guess that?s okay.? She commented, and then laid back down against him. He held her close. This was weird to her. He seemed?sweet. He was so unlike himself. She loved it. She smiled and closed her eyes.
?There?s something strange?and almost kind. But he was mean and he was coarse and unrefined. But now he?s dear and so unsure. I don?t know why I didn?t see it there before.?
She snuggled more closely up to him, placing this moment in her memory. She sat up when he spoke.
?Relena??
?Hm??
?I have something I want to give you.?
?What?s that?? She turned to look at him. He gave her a small black box, and watched her open it. Inside, there was a golden locket. She ran her fingers over it. There was an inscription on the back. ?I will always be here? ( I had to write it that big, ?cause you couldn?t see it otherwise?)
?Oh, Heero. It?s beautiful.?
?Open it.?
Inside, there was a picture of the to of them, holding each other, and posing foe a picture. It was taken a while ago. She remembered that day?.
?Thank you, Heero.? She kissed him. When the kiss was broken, he put it on her neck.
?You look beautiful.? He whispered.
?I will always wear it, as a reminder that you love me.?
?I do love you.? He ran his hand over her cheek.
?I know. I love you, too.?
