Hey I'm new
Hey, I'm new here and need some fanfic ideas. Gundam Wing's my fav and if i happen to have any ideas on what i could do that would be greatly appreciated. Preferably no explicit fight scenes and I don't mind writing lemon (i love it) but I"m not really good at it. So, i hope someone responds cuz that would be greatly appreciated.
hugz and kisses,

Hello! And welcome!
If you're stuck for ideas, may I suggest a go at the New Years' challenge? It's a short one, 600-800 words, and the requirement is Heero and Relena kissing for New Years. It doesn't have to be AT midnight, though.
It might be a way to get you writing. I've found that once I started, the ideas just kinda found me. They'd occur in the midst of reading someone else's fic..... A glossed over detail that caught my eye and made me go "What if...", and suddenly I had an idea.
Or randomly driving down the street, listening to music in the car. A stanza, a phrase, an emotion.
Fight scenes are an acquired thing. I'm not very good at them myself. Start small and work your way up. Have someone throw a punch and someone else dodge. Don't think too hard about the actual writing of it, or you'll psych yourself out.
But try the New Years challenge, it's a good warmup. If you're still stuck, we'll be opening a writers' workshop once the database move is complete, and we'll have some writing exercises in there to try as well.
Good luck!
Love,
Rose

Here's what I do....
It may not help, but here's what I do, or used to, anyway. Go and look at all the episodes, and find a scene that could use some improvement, or just is a little nebulous. Start on those ideas, and they're bound to lead you to others. You can also take stuff from other shows...shhhhhh....
Like, if you like the way so and so did something, write it in the perspective of the GW characters. I mean, it can be ANY show. It could be Will and Grace, for al I know...but that would be hard to do....Anywho, I hope that helps you. It helped me when I first started writing.
