Original Fic forum & poems

Hey, Rose.

Quick question: I have noticed that a lot of poems have been submitted into the Original Fiction area. I said that people could do that awhile back when I was asked (a LOT via PM ^__^;;; ). However, the OF forum has been inundated with poems by very talented people, and the ficcage is getting "left out" (have you read the poems? They're really good!!!), and I was wondering if you wanna' keep it that way or if there's a chance a poetry forum could be opened?

Also, is it OK that original poems are in that forum? I thought it would be, so I didn't ask, but if it's not, I'll feel badly... DON'T SMITE ME, OH MIGHTY SMITER!!!! *cowers*

Either way, I don't care. Keeping them is making me happy, cause the forum's now got 2 PAGES!!!! WORD! I just wanted to ask. ^___^ I also wanted to make sure that the poems are fine where they are, or if I was wrong in saying it was OK to post them there...

PS: The Mel-ster (aka ME) has submitted poems, so in saying other people have inundated the forum, I am just as guilty!!!! >__< Bad, Mellie! Bad!!!!

I think that there being poems in there is fine. At this time, I'd rather leave it with original fics and poems in the one forum. I feel bad for making people scroll as much as they do already. And I've been threatening, I mean ASKING NICELY, a good friend with some html expertise and willingness to learn php if she would help me redesign the portal page (ie - figure out how to do what I want it to do and then do it for me) where instead of it just kinda lying on top, the portal will take people directly into the individual forums. If/when that happens, I'll be sure to create another forum. For now, though, if it's problematic, perhaps having people label in the post [POEM] or something as a requirement would help?
