Ready to Board (Drabble #8)

This hit me last night as I was lying in bed waiting for my brain to turn off and allow sleep to finally take over.

Title: Ready to board?
Word Count: 158 (I really tried, I did, but if I took anything else out, it'd suck worse. Don't hate me!!)
Rating: G
Pairing: 1+R

?So you going to go for it??

Heero stared at the table, then the paper in his hand. Making the wrong decision would cost him everything. However, taking this chance would mean beating Zechs. Even so, he didn?t want to look stupid in front of Relena who currently looked lovely caressing her swollen belly.

Silence surrounded him, broken intermittently by various actions from Duo, Wufei, and Quatre. Relena hummed softly. Trowa and Zechs remained silent, both patient as they awaited the decision.

Finally Heero cleared his throat.

?Professor Plum in the conservatory with the lead pipe.?

All eyes transfixed on the miniature manila envelope as Heero studied the three cards before replacing them back inside.

?Well?? Duo asked.

?The game is over,? Heero stated. ?For me.?

Relena smiled and resumed her humming and the caressing of her belly. Only she and Trowa did not seem put off by Heero?s loss. It was his first board game after all.

I also thought about making a longer version of this but I don't know if it'd be worth it. So there ya go, the short and sweet version. *shakes head* I'm losing my touch. I WICKED I tell you! WICKED!! I love ANGST!! And here I am being all sweet and fluffy-ish.

I could see Heero playing a game such as this, but what's even weirder, is I could imagine Sousuke Sagara playing this.

Could you imagine by the way Sousuke is how he would no doubt come up with a whole detailed senario of how the murder was planned, executed and then covered up, etc?

Good Job, btw. Very cute. I liked it.

I liked this, Wicked. You should try writing a short fic about this... It would be hilarious. This was really good. Game Board decisions are very tough! Hahaha!! I always lose at Clue.... :-?

Okay I know this drabble is old and all but I finally got what you meant War Dove.

At first I thought, "Sousuke Sagara? Who the hell?" Then I watched some FMP!F and it hit me! And you are dead on about Sousuke. I think I finally have a cute little fluff (ack there goes the fluff again) piece involving Kaname, Sousuke, and a few others.

Questions is, should I allow Kurz and Mao in? Oh decisions decisions. I'm going to have to think on this one a little more before execution. Ha! What a way to get into FMP! fanfiction.
