Few days before....
"Heero, I've had it. All you do is guard me like I'm a figurine on a plaque signifying peace and prosperity." Relena yelled at him in her private office.
"It's my job to protect you."Heero replied evenly.
"Don't you care about me at all besides my job here at Preventer Hq.?"
"You're important to the world Relena. Someone has to protect peace."He didn't know how to tell her how he really felt. She's being unfair. I tried last year to tell her, but she had the 'princess meeting' for all the princesses of the world to talk about how they can stop wars.
"Well, if that's all I am to you, then someone else can protect me." She practically spat at him. "Heero Yuy, you are fired."
The silence that filled the room was so intense that Relena almost heard drama-music. The hurt in his eyes however, made her regret her anger. He quickly turned back into the perfect soldier and met her eyes with the coldest glare she had ever seen on anyone. His eyes narrowed."If that is what you wish."His eyes turned a silver blue and he left the room.
If he had slammed the door she probably would have broken down into tears. But that could wait, the practical side of her brain said. Cry later.

Heero POV
Heero walked down the street with the others to the old theatre. He was bored so he let Duo drag him along. They were going to watch something called The Bourne Identity. The girls all except for Elyn and Mei Linn were out shopping. Elyn walked beside Duo while Mei Linn was behind them all, watching the stars.
"Oh, come one Wufei, it's a good movie." Duo grumbled as he walked backwards infront of the china man (I am not racist so please forgive me if it offends)
"Too old."
"So's Fist of dragon, but that doesn't stop you." Mei Linn said sarcastically.
"That's another story!"
"You mean another movie." Trowa said quietly.
"Besides, I'll make it worth your while." Duo said snorting as he patted his coat pocket. Elyn raised her eyebrow and snatched the contents up for inspection for all to see.
"Sake!?" she exclaimed. "You got a bottle of sake?"
"Yeah, so what?"
"This bottle hasn't been opened ever."
"That's bad?" Duo and Wufei snorted.
"It was made in 2003." she said caustically.
Sweat drops all around.
"... That's mine." Heero growled and snatched it from Duo. Everyone laughed at the perfect soldier's grumbling about braided bakkas.
"Why do you need it anyway?"Duo pouted. Instantly regretting the haste in his comment he gulped as Heero stopped and faced him. His eyes a cold blue, Heero poked him in the chest and pushed Duo aside. "You forget, I'm unemployed." and walked past the theatre to the next street.
"Geez Duo, you are a bakka." Wufei and Mei Linn exclaimed sadly. Trowa looked at Heero's back and shrugged pityingly. Elyn glared at Duo a minute then followed Trowa's gaze. Quatre thought of calling Heero back but Elyn pulled his hand down.
"He'll be alright. He'll just have a very large hangover."

In an alley nearbye...
Flashes of light and a gust of wind surrounded a little girl with a old stuffed teadybear clutched in her arms. Opening her prussian blue eyes slowly, she shook dust out of her honey blonde hair. She looked only about 5 years old. She wore a black tank top with a dark green skort.
"Mommie? Daddie?" she called out to the dark alley and shivered. Walking into the street light, she looked around, eying the darker areas warily.
"Daddie! Mommie!" She called out again. She wasn't scared of the dark, but the shadows reminded her of what daddie warned her about a long time ago. Turning to face north, she spotted someone on the sidewalk. "Daddie?"
When she reached the someone, she stepped back unvoluntarily. The man had a tatoo of a flying serpent on his forehead. "I ain't yo daddy hon, but I'll take care of you." He said, leering at her.
"No thankyou." She said quickly and politely. Then, she turned on her heels and ran. "Help me! Daddie!!!" The man caught up with her quickly.
Turning into another alley, she bumped into another man, but this one, had a bottle in his hands.
"What the? A kid?"

The little girl looked up into Heero's face. Relief showed in her eyes.
"Daddie!" she cried glomping him.
"Anwa!?" (Say what!?) Heero looked at the girl with honeyblonde hair and immediately thought of Relena. But her eyes were prussian blue.
The old man came up behind them with a knife drawn. "Hey you! That's my brat!"
"Daddie, he tried to get me!"
"Wait a minute, I'm not-"
"Daddie?" The guy said with scorn. "Who did you bonk up man? You look to be only 19. Just hand the kid over and I'll leave you to your sake."
"Leave her alone and I'll give you the stupid bottle."Heero growled.
"I want that kid punk!" The man said as he drew another knife from out of his pocket.
Putting down the girl and the bottle, Heero sobered and went from a slouch, to a defensive stance. Ducking when the guy couldn't stop Heero snapped his wrist, disarming him easily, and drop-kicked him into a dumpster.
Muttering about people who didn't know anything, Heero started to walk out of the alley. The little girl grabbed his arm and walked out with him.
"Daddie, that was so cool!" she grinned up at him. Heero, just noticing that she was on his arm, blinked. "Wha-?"
Then, Duo, Quatre, Trowa, Wufei and the two girls were coming up the street. Spotting Heero, Duo pointed them out. Elyn did a double take, not believing that it was Heero. "What the heck?"
"Uh, Heero? Who's this?" Wufei asked. Mei Linn's eyebrows were up to the popping point. Quatre had a confused expression on his face while Trowa gave Heero a face that plainly said,"Well?"
"Who are you little one?" Quatre asked the girl politely.
"I'm Rhia, and this is my daddy!" The girl said matter of factly. "But uncle Kat, why don;t you remember?"
sweat drops all around.
"... Daddie?" Elyn squeaked. Then she glared at Heero accusingly.
Duo of course, started to giggle.
"Omae o korosu!" Elyn said matter of factly."If that isn't Hers."
Heero put his hands up in defense "Now wait a minute! I- She.. We- No, I uh,." Slumping a little, Heero gave up. Actually, he had no choice in the matter.
Flump
"Shimato."
Everyone got a laugh out of that. Heero dropped, Quatre caught him quickly, but Rhia got to his side first.
"I swear," Heero mumbled, "That this kid-".
"This kid what?" Duo asked as he helped them into the van. The girl named, Rhia sat by Heero's sleeping form as they drove back to Hq. "Seat belts."
"Shut it bakka." Elyn mumbled as she watched the kid warily.

Morning, At Heero's barracks...
Heero woke up and shook his head tiredly. 'Why did I drink so much?...Oh,...' Looking around, He saw that he was home, well, sort of. It had just the kind of abandoned army-zone look that Duo always joked about. Sitting up, Heero vagely recalled last nights binge drinking of that 100 year old bottle, or was it...2? 'Man, I must have been pretty drunk, I thought I saw a little kid with Relena's hair and my eye color...That's it. No more sake for me.'
*Flush* The bathroom's light was on, door closed. He heard the sink turn on and off, and the rustling of someone getting a towel. "...Bakka. I warned him,..." Gritting his teeth, Heero stood up then opened the door, and almost yelled the word Duo, However,...
"Morning daddie! Had a good sleep?" Rhia asked cheerfully as she replaced the towel in the cubbard.

)"... ... ...."Heero's mouth was wide open with shock. "Morn-ing, ... Will you excuse me a minute?"
"Ok, daddie. But don't foget to brush your teeth and wash up too."
"Thankyou." He said quickly, then he closed the door and flew to the bedroom door, yanked it open, then, to Everyone's amusement and Heero's embarassment, He fell down the stairs and came to a stop at Duo's feet.
"You need to lay off the java Heero," Duo smirked. Jumping up suddenly, Heero grabbed his shirt collar. "Who was that?"
"Uh, your kid? Her name's Rhia. Shouldn't you know this?"
Grumbling her agreement, Elyn stood up and raised her eyebrow slightly.
"What?" It may have been the lamest thing he had ever said, but Heero was speechless. "She's not, I'm not..."
"Then who's is she?" Elyn demanded."I have a right to know, since she may be my niece."
"Occording to her bag and bear," Quatre said to stop Elyn from jumping down her brothers throat."Her name is Mariahia Peacecraft-Yuy. Born January, 13 AC 203. It also shows her home address, the Darlain estate. Her school, her.."
"That's impossible!!!" Heero practically screamed.
"Why?" Trowa, Mei-Linn and Wufei asked in unison.
"You've been around Relena long enough to, well, you know." Quatre blushed sheepily.
Growling his frustration, Heero spat out" Because-We-Never-Did-anything!!! We never did that! And we never were emotionally involved except for what you all already knew!"
"Well," Elyn said."That explains alot." Looking at the info on the kid, Elyn frowned. "That can't be right."
"What now?" Heero grumbled exasperatedly.
"This year is AC 202, But this says it's AC 203. According to this, the kid isn't even born yet."
"I'm all cleaned up!" A cheery young Rhia skipped down the steps.
"Rhia, where did you come from? Who brought you here?"Quatre asked her kindly.
"Uh, if you mean just now, you did."
"Before you found Heero," Trowa added.
"An nice old man, Daddie said I could trust him if things got scary."
"No I didn't-" Mumbling, Heero sat down. Rhia climbed up on his lap, to everyone's amusement, except for Heero's. Heero froze, he actually looked stupefied. Looking up at them all, his eyes plainly asking,"Help!"
"Dr. J, it had to be him or one of the others." Mei Linn said snapping her fingers.
Rhia merely sat down on Heero's knees and faced his equally blue eyes. Duo sneeked away, Elyn's stare following him.
"Well, she is adorable." Quatre said smiling at Heero's rigidness. Then, to them all quietly,"He doesn't know what to do." Chuckling. Trowa wasn't paying attention, he was wide eyed, staring at Duo, who had a very evil looking smirk on his face. Wufei raised an eyebrow.
"Smile for the camera!" *CLICK!*
Rhia smiled while Heero blinked with a dumbfounded expression. Duo fell to the ground in histerics while everyone else tried to keep as straight a face as possible. Heero glared at Duo, Rhia merely giggled at his antics. Elyn sighed exasperatedly, finally deciding that Duo was a bakka, for the hundredth time.
"Give me that camera, bakka."
"snicker...No... way..."
The only thing keeping Heero from strangling Duo was Rhia, who was now pearched precariously on his lap."Uncle Duo is so silly!!!"hiccuping with mirth, she grabbed onto Heero's shirt. Staring at the giggling girl Heero was reminded strongly of Relena.
"Let's just get this over with and find out what's going on." Heero grumbled as he slumped back into the chair. Elyn shook with her laughter with everyone else.

Darlain Estate...
Relena was in another bad mood after her press conference. Diplomat, she may be, but this was close to the breaking point. Delegates always asking for a little more than the others, terrorist threats, and finally, Zech's behavior after she fired Heero. He was practically cheerful. Flinging her purse at the hat stand, and tossing her coat very close to the fireplace, she growled her frustration into her mattress. Noin waited patiently while this went on, while Pagan's eyebrows were up to his hairline.
After five minutes of her pounding her anger into her pillows, Relena sat up and took a deep breath. "Hello Noin, what does my brother demand of me now?" Her carelessly hidden barb didn't dent Noin. Feeling a bit guilty, Relena sat down at her desk, where Pagan had placed her forgotten tea.
"He wants to beef up security," Noin said casually, though she smirked as she did so."As usual."
"Oh, well did it ever occur to your husband that I might want to see daylight once in a blue moon?" She smiled to take the bite out of her remark.
"I don't mean to interupt your disscussion about me, ladies, but I do want to keep you both as safe as possible." Zechs said as he walked over to Noin.
Relena was going to add her own addition to the growing argument, but Pagan politely interupted."Miss Relena, Mr. Maxwell and company are here." He deftly forgot to mention who else was with them.
"Alright, bring them in. If, it's alright with Zechs, of course..."
Wincing at her remark, Zechs feined off her verbal assault as he sat down in a chair. "I'm just making sure you're safe Relen...a?"
"What is it?" Relena asked as she turned away from the table. Duo, and the others were wearing amused expressions as distant laughter from the hallway echoed into the room. Duo was practically in a fit holding in his mirth. Perplexed, Relena questioned them. "What's going on you guys?"
"Come on Daddie! Let's play outside!!!"
Heero grumbled as he dragged his foot in the room, a little girl in tow. Relena just stared at Heero, the word Daddie reverberated in her brain.
"D-daddie?" Relena weakly asked as Heero sat down on the nearest chair. Zechs's eyes were popping out if his sockets. Noin just stared in disbelief. Heero then glared acusingly at Relena. "Is this yours?" through gritted teeth.
Relena then blanched. "Mine? Mine!? What on Earth are you talking about?! I don-"
"Shhh!!!!!" Quatre and Lurana hissed as Rhia looked at Relena, just noticing she was there.
"MOMMIE!!!" And she leaped off of Heero's lap and pounced on her legs. Heero grunted affirmation after Relena looked at him with raised eyebrows. Zechs jumped to his feet and glared at Heero, furious.
