This Last Moment


If you see the sign,
Would you read between the lines?

Try to understand
Why I can not

The bridge is crumbling
As we are running

It?s burning at our feet

We both know,
You should not tell me that you love me

So look me in the eye

Just give me one reason
Tell me what I am feeling

Do not pull me close
Do not push me away

Seduce me,
With a spell of intricately woven words

Make me see the dream
The very thing we can not hold

There is so much we could have
I know this and yet I can not ask

I dare not speak,
Nor can I watch this come undone

If I close my eyes,
Can I will this away?

I need to hold you

How do I let you go?

I know exactly how you feel. Recently, I let go of the first person I've ever fallen in love with, as much as it hurt to do so. I cannot tell you how many times I've wished the very things that you expressed in this poem... And you know all too well how much it hurts...

I had to let go of my first major crush n it hurt! but know i have a new crush who i like n i THINK he likes me to. n hes stares at me but wont talk 2 me. so yea i know wha its like n tha poem expresses how i felt. i dont wha i will do if this crush falls through!
