A Night Ride Chapter 2

Chapter 2

Ellie woke up the next morning wondering who the man had been in the fields last night and had she just dreamed the fact that he'd flew into the sky riding a winged horse?
After a while Maid Marie came in to clean up and tell Ellie to come down for breakfast.
"Get dressed and come down dearie," she said whilst fluffing the pillows.
"Where are my clothes?" asked Ellie.
"They are in the armoire."
"Whats an ar........"
Before she could finish Maid Marie indicated a large wardrobe made of oak.
Ellie made her way towards it and flung it open. She then pulled out her skyblue tee-shirt and jeans along with her blue denim jacket.
‘’Oh I’m sorry we must have mixed up your brothers clothes with yours,’’ said Maid Marie frantically getting up to take the clothes.
‘’No, these are mine,’’
"Well its your choice what you wish to wear dear, now come down to breakfast you father and mother are waiting."
With that she left the room.
Ellie got out of the long satin laced nightdress and pulled on the denim jacket and jeans. She then made her way to the mirror carefully brushing her long blond locks out of her face.

Later on that day she decided to find out if it truly had been real or if she was dreaming.
She managed to catch Maid Mala whilst she was running some errands.
"Mala," she began catching the old lady by surprise.
"Yes may i be of assistance to you young mistress."
"Does anyone, I mean do you let anyone in the fields behind the southern part of the manor?"
"What do you mean by anyone,"
"You know riders and all."
At this Mala dropped her books and whipped around.
"N-no not at all what ggave you such a silly idea now run along and dont be so nosy," she snapped.

Later on Ellie tried the same question with Masy and Marie recieving the same sort of response.
At the end of the day Ellie was both suspicious and frustrated.
Who was the rider? Why were the maids so secretive?and what was going on?
She pondered over this for quite some time until she finally came up with a solution to her problem.

That night Ellie decided to set the alarm for half past eleven.
As soon as the alarm began to go she got up a little annoyed at losing sleep but also excited about what she was going to try and discover.
She pulled on her coat and tip toed down the stairs till she reached the kitchen.
She then turned the key and carefully pulled open the door.
She moon hung in the dark sky, the field cold and empty.
Ellie looked up at the great clock in the kitchen, it was ten to 12.
Ellie found a comfortable place in the fields and sat there waiting.
Suddenly there was a great gust of wind and she spotted a great white speck in the distance coming towards her.
It was that man again on his horse. He rode around for a while, swinging around his rope and then after a few minutes stopped to let his gallant white horse graze.
Ellie saw this as her chance, almost suddenly she ran from her position and quietly climbed onto the horse.
There was no need for stealth for the old man did not seem to see her.
Once the horse had had its fill the old man climbed onto the horse.
It once again began to ride.
Ellie felt the cold wind lap against her face and then she felt a sudden lurch in her stomach as the horse sprouted wings and began to lift from the ground...

Authors note:PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep the reviews coming because i need encouragement to continue with the story also out of curiosity I was wondering what are lemons and limes in fanfiction terms because i've seen them around but dont know what they mean.[color=#][/color]

Ah, the horsie has wings!!! So, who is the mysterious rider?



As for lemons and limes in fanfiction... Lime has to do with "making out", ie. kissing, maybe a little more than kissing, touching nondescript places, etc. Lemon has to do with a more graphic depiction of an actual sexual experience.

So, when do we find out about the rider?
