Slave to Your Love Contest Deadline

As mentioned in the original post, the contest deadline for the Slave to Your Love contest is fast approaching. Due to the holidays and international travel plans for some, I'm going to permit a tiny bit of flexibility, but not much. There are some that have entered and completed their fics on time, so I don't feel right about extending the deadline. HOWEVER, I have heard from SEVERAL people that they are trying to get their entries finished, but they're not sure they'll make it in time. *arches eyebrow* So, what is a webmaster to do?

At this time, I am 'flexing' the deadline to the following:

IF YOU HAVE A FIC YOU ARE WORKING ON, PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP!!! (destinysblackrose @ hotmail.com <--w/o spaces)

In the meantime, the way this is working is I have to have a post in the Contest forum with the title of the fic in progress, and something to 'place hold'. A rough draft, an outline, header information, something about the fic. The deadline for posting your contest place-holder is January 1, 2003 at 11:59p Pacific Standard Time.

Once your placeholder has been posted to the forum by the Jan 1 deadline, you will have until Sunday night, January 5, 2003 at 11:59p PST to EDIT in your fic to the post. When the deadline is up, I will cut off the ability to edit, and what is there is there.

If you have questions or any technical difficulties, please feel free to ask. If you're having other difficulties, please either email me privately, or send a Private Message. I will consider all requests, but will not do what I deem to be unfair to others.

The open, second annual Destiny fanfiction contest will be announced soon with a tentative deadline scheduled for mid-March. So, if you're not even close to finishing that handcuff fic, you may consider entering it in the lemon category of the later contest.

I'm so happy to see the number of entries so far!!! I think, already, we've had a good turn out. Thank you to all who have entered and to those who will be scrambling to get your entries in...

I have been contacted by someone (they shall remain nameless) who has been working on an entry since before the contest was announced, but cannot get her story to me by the above deadline due to devastating computer problems. Since I agreed to grant her a limited extension, it's only fair to grant it to everyone.

SO! Happy New Year! If you're still fretting that Jan 5th deadline, it's been extended until Jan 8th, 12 midnight Pacific Standard Time. I STILL NEED PLACEHOLDER POSTS IN THIS FORUM BY THE 12 MIDNIGHT DEADLINE (PST) TOMORROW NIGHT! You'll have a week to then edit your entries prior to commencement of judging. And yes, that includes being able to edit-in your entire fic.

These things don't have to have a lot of plot (plots are good if you want to put one in, though). We're just asking for fluffy, happy, 1xR lime and lemon fics that feature a set of handcuffs...

And THERE'S STILL TIME! All you have to do is make a post in this forum stating that you're planning on entering, and you still have a week to get it done!!!

Well, since the new contest is coming soon, when will we be allowed to place in our entries and should we title them appropriately? Also, Rose, is it allowed to add a story already stored within the BI forums from a certain date? I'm only curious in case I gotta write MORE, NEW stories. I'm a little swaped on my other stories, only for the simple fact that 1 out of 60-80 of my stories are actually complete.
