It never stopped coming. She didn?t know whether to be amused or alarmed.

Roses.

A dozen everyday without fail. She was being buried underneath the fragrance and colour of it. Crimson, he had whispered, for love.

Then he was there, gripping her hand, touching her face and forming in words all her fantasies.

?I love you, Relena. Will you marry me??

She turned away, crushed a full-bloomed rose in her fist and whispered, ?No.? Forming in words all his nightmares.

An eye for an eye, Relena thought while willing her heart to die. She had no more use for love.

AHHH! I absolutely loved it. I think we all, in our hearts, like to see Heero get bashed once in a while, the arrogant jerk . . . Give 'im heck, Relena! Wa-hoo, I say to that.
