What time of year is best for D3?

For those of you who don't know what D3 is, no, it's not the new movie with Arnie, it's the 3rd Annual Destiny Fanfiction contest dedicated to the 1xR (Heero x Relena) pairing!!!!

The first one was held from Oct - Jan. The second one was held from Mar-June.

What time frame is better for everyone who participates as either a prize donor, judge, or contestant?

Keep in mind, I try to give at least 3 months for people to get their submissions in.

ah, well, this is cool. What exactly are the rules for said contest? Or is there somewere were it already says this? lol, please inform me so maybe I can enter!

Check out the Contest forum. Destiny 2's rules will be the tentative guide for Destiny 3's.

I say the 'The cooler months make me more productive. The November - March time frame would be better for me.' cause it is!!! But... I never have time to write anythin... that and I'm lazy... so summer would really work.... but... the time span is REALLY short!! only 2 months!! well... 3... but still! Isn't there any other way...?

i think it'll be easier to write in the summer when you don't have to wry about classes and school. you have more time to write stries and read 'em...more than ya do in the other months cuz of school.

Okay... I didn't like the timeframe for D2. The season doesn't really matter to me, but there are some things that really screw up my writing time.

For D2, I was working on ISUs, preparing/studying for exams, getting loads of review work and last minute projects etc etc. I found it very hard to find time to work on my entry (thanks again for the multiple extensions).

And September is back to school, and you get a ton of work there too... I guess the best time for me would be when there is a lull in the work, October, November, February, March. Times that are in between exams.

Hope that helped a little.

I think Octobor-December...

Just because I personally have a few breaks from school during that time... y'know... Thanksgiving... Christmas/New Years...

For those who want no classes happening so they can work on it... and for those who don't care if classes are going on and just want to write it now...

I think I'll actually participate in this one this time...

I think we had a few more entries last year in the Nov-Jan time frame. Not a TON more, but a few. I think it does suit people better...I don't seem to be very productive during the summer months for some reason. Hmmmm...

I've had someone specifically requesting maybe we open the contest to allow separate categories for other pairings. Like a Best 2xH category, or even a Best other anime pairing category (like Vash x Meryl, or Kyo x Tohru or something).

Any opinions on this?
