Warning! If this poem somehow dose happen to upset you in anyway, I apologize, and will remove if asked.

Let go

To let go. . .
Forgotten memories
Lingering pain of what was felt
At times we cope
At times we find
Ourselves. . .
Alone

We wish to let go
Of our troubles
Of our sins
We try one way
Only to be lend another
The path we follow

Is it worth it
To let go
Of everything
Even if it ment
What we treasure most?

Lovely poem. I did not find it offensive at all. It was a simple and deep introspective piece. Beautiful!
Do not measure life by the number of breaths you take but rather by the moments that take your breath away.

Some things belong on paper, others in life. It's a blessed fool who can't tell the difference. - Madeleine "Quills"

A poem like yours is of the best. Poetry is meant to be deep and introspective, and you've done a great job of it here. It wasn't in anyway offensive!!

To clear this up, as I think there was a bit of confusion...

This poem right here *points to poem* is in no way offensive, and is more than welcome. I see no need, myself, for a warning.

This is just to put whatever fears to rest, and to let you all know that I'm not a harsh bastard who gets pissed at the slightest bout of angst.

Well...not TODAY.

^_~

I'm joking. ^__^

Anyway, just to clear that up. ^___^
Bob is my avatar. wicked made it for me. She is basically to-the-limit. Except she's bereft. And that is so sad.

Drop it. Like it is hot.
