Hope everyone likes this! I would like some feedback. Tell me what you think. I accept all feedback except bad ones :razz:

A reflection in the mirror

Kikyo and Kagome?.a reflection in a mirror ?the same but different somehow. That is what I think.

I think I am everything that Kikyo wanted to be but couldn?t. Before the jewel, I lived a normal life without too much worry or responsibility besides school. I had plans for my future, you know college, marriage, and family.

Yet Kikyo might have had almost the same dreams but with her responsibilities, she could never realize them. I wondering if that why I tolerate Inu Yasha being around her because I feel sorry for what she could never have.

My life will continue after the jewel is whole. I will be able to go back to my own life but Kikyo?.she will still remain caught between the living and the dead. It seems that hatred and vengeance is not the only things keeping her alive. But also her unfulfilled dreams and wishes.

Sitting under the God tree, I realize how peaceful it is and the sunset looks so beautiful.

I feel so alive. I may be a reflection of Kikyo but I will live my life without the longing and regret that she did. I want to make my wishes and dreams comes true.

I know one thing that she may have never realized??I know I will never be alone because no matter where you go in life there will be someone who cares about you.

Soon Inu Yasha will come to pick me up. I better get everything ready to go back .

Smiling , I make a promise to myself?..

I will live my life with no regrets and make my dreams come true because I know life will always go on, no matter how much we want to change the past

interesting perspective, ne? i believe you are right about kagome being everything kikyo could not be. Are you going to make this into a story now that you've got a nice prologue? hehehe... you can work with this. Or are you just going to leave it alone as one introspective piece?

Very interesting bit of writing. I had always thought that Kikyou was jealous of Kagome over Inuyasha, but I had never really thought of her being jealous over Kagome's life. I suppose because I dont really know a great deal about Kikyou, other than she was a miko guarding the Shikon no Tama. Just what her life was like before that is a mystery to me, so I dont know exactly what she gave up. But I suppose that it is entirely possible she gave up a relatively care-free life to be in charge of the jewel. Really, you have to feel sorry for her.

Great writing. I like it as a stand alone, but would be delighted if you added to it as well
