Hello, fellow Blissful Ignorance members! I am RDP, a proud supporter of non-yoai pairings.

In case you were wondering about the post's title, 'translucent' means 'clear', or 'permitting the passage of light.' A revolution is of course a 'sudden change' or 'overthrow of a governing body.' Throughout the Gundam Wing series, it is pretty obvious that Heero Yuy and Relena Darlian Peacecraft share some sort of romantic attraction. And it is sites like Blissful Ignorance, and the people who are part of it, which are turning the tides on the yoai rumors. Non-yoai has recently been gaining a lot of popularity, especially in the fanfiction world; accomplishments which can be rightfully attributed to people like yourselves, and wonderful web forums like this. So we are starting a revolution in GW fandom, letting the light of 1xR shine through!

I must admit however, the main reson I used the catchy title was so you would be intrigued enough to read this.

Well, if you are, it must have worked.
So...about myself. I am a total Gundam Wing addict, and adore Heero & Relena. I read, write, and review fanfiction, but am
extremely lazy, which is why I have not posted any fics yet.

I also draw fanart (GW, horses, dragons), but until I get hold of a scanner or a good graphics program, I am stuck with Paint, and everyone knows how hard it is to draw with only a mouse in that pitiful program...
I am in High School, and can play the clarinet. I am also trying out for my school's Air Riflery team, and have yet to complete my Summer reading (hey, I am too busy reading 1xR fics!). I love my cute little fish, who spend their numbered days eating, pooping, and occasionally dying.
I am generally a partial-pacifist, environmentalist (Recycle! Don't waste water! Save the rainforests!

) and conservative who likes to ramble, as you have all seen evidence of.
I feel welcomed and like one of the group already, and it is nice to meet each of you. Please be patient with me - I am still a newbie in most of the forums, but I will try to be more active more often. This is the most frequented site in my household, and it has undoubtedly become one of my favorite pastimes to visit. (Hehe...my mother and brother wonder why I am always on the computer, typing away...

)
Oh yes, I am also a Protestant Christian and American citizen. God bless!
