Returning Beta Reader - Looking for a Job

Post by wongmulan »

*brushes cobwebs off of brain*

Well, here I am, back at BI and ready to return to my beta-reader job!

PAST DABBLINGS IN THIS WORLD:

Alright. My warnings here are that I am a fledgling college student, and thus, may not always be able give you next day results, but I gurantee that I am a good beta reader - I have past beta-ees here at BI, such as Saz (whom I haven't seen in years), latinababe (whom I also haven't seen in years), Madcat (yeesh, another year one), and Murasaki Youki / Hitomi Lei (whom I also have not seen in years).

Oy. Okay, so my record's a bit old, but I'm still going strong, and now that I'm entering college, I'll have a little more time to take on beta reading on the side! (Plus, I'm currently aspiring to be a book editor, so beta reading is really really helpful :) )

SKILLS:

Hmmm. I technically can read all kinds of fics, but I generally enjoy HxR (Gundam Wing) fics the most. I can handle lemons to a point, but sometimes, they uh... just get a bit too technical  . Honestly, if I am confronted with a fic that I would generally not read, or at least, do not know the anime and it's plotline, then I will just check for spelling and grammatical errors. If it is say, a staring singular series, then I can do my best in checking for holes in the plotline along future chapters.

I hope to get replies, but if not, no worries. 8)
