I was thinking of something along the lines of maybe a fic recommendation group, or a techinical support group, or a beta reader group or...geez...I have too many ideas!!! *rolls around on the floor* Tee hee, does this sound like a good idea? *pokes Rose* Come on, you know it sounds like fun! Okay, it sounds like fun, and I'll happily do whatever I can to help. *hugs* Let me go see how/what I need to do to set it up where you can start groups....
Anyway, if you did allow me to start a group I would definitely do all the work so you wouldn't have to worry about extra responsibility and claims on your time.
I figured out the other day....
I'm like the dad that's never home to see his kids grow up. Stella's the mom. She's around to interact with all the people I WANT to and hang out and chat with all the people that I wish I could be closer to. But I'm instead over here, with my Capricorn-escque (forgive the astrological reference) determination and ambitions plugging away at trying to get this website up and fully functional and write original works as well as fanfics. I feel like I'm missing out on spending more time with my friends.
And I feel like a total ass every time I hear "Oh, I know you're busy." Like NO ONE else has things to do. My things to do are no more important than other people's things to do. I'm just worse about being able to juggle them all than the rest of the world.
Let me know what you think, Rose, and if you say it's okay I'll get back to you on the group type.
It's perfectly fine, Berry-chan! I'll go right now and make sure you have permission to set up groups, and let me know what else you need. If you decide to do the fanfiction recommendations, I was thinking that the now practically defunct Heero x Relena featured author forum could be turned into "Featured Fics" and allow for more people to showcase their work. Maybe do one a month or something? (these are just ideas; feel free to choose to do whatever you want).
I'm thinking that a group that wants to invite Featured Authors to the various other anime forums might be a nice idea, too. The Believe Your Love, Alternatives, Trigun, and Escaflowne forums could use a bit more in the way of content. ^___^ I'm also not adverse to adding other animes, etc. but I'd need to know which ones people want to add, and whatnot.
Choose whatever you want, and let me know about these ideas (if you think they're good ones, etc). I might try recruiting people to head up some of these little projects...
