Announcing the 2010 Church of Lemons!!!

It's that time of year again! The 2010 is officially off and rolling and we want YOU!

Never heard of the Church of Lemons? Wondering who this crazy, ranting girl is? Well let me explain . . .

The Church of Lemons is an annual pledge drive geared toward fanfiction, fanart, and even the occasional poem of the lemony variety with a focus on 1xR. It used to be only GW but the past several years have included other popular fandoms as well. This year the fandoms will be:

- GW (naturally)
- Bleach
- Naruto
- Gundam 00

Those wishing to pledge can choose a het paring from any of those fandoms.

To sign up, pick a day between Feb. 7 and March 7. If that day has not already been claimed, you are ready to go and should plan to post your fanwork on that day. More deatailed instructions will be coming regarding actually posting your submission, but it can always be e-mailed to this address: churchoflemons2010@gmail.com.

How do you find out if a day has been claimed? Is there a calendar? I actually haven't done CoL before (crazy no?) but I have a half-finished sub for this year. Is the church primarily run through the Love Reflection Mailing List, Livejournal, or BI?

Hey!

That is crazy! I could have sworn I'd read things of yours in the CoL . . . maybe I just thought that I did . . .

I've been posting the calendar updates on LRML. We haven't started doubling up on days yet. What we have left now is Feb 23rd and 25th - if you can do one of those days great, if you need something later to get some more work done on your submission, we'll start doubling up on days.

So glad that you want to pledge this year!

I've made several attempts to make a pledge at the LRML, where I am a member, but none of them seem to be getting through. Am I on a moderated list? (why?) No idea what is going on. The days seem to be filling up as a I try to pledge for them. I'd like a Friday or a Saturday if doubles start happening.
