Only sometimes
Do I let myself bleed
Only sometimes
Do I let myself live

And it's so hard to see you weak
When you hold us by the hand
It's so hard to trust your ideal
It's so hard to take a stand

So sometimes
I wonder how you are
And at times
I wonder if you've gone too far

For the sake of your people
You'll give up freedom
For your sake and mine
I hope we find wisdom

Only sometimes
Will I let myself cry
Only sometimes
Will I give hope a try

And maybe at times
I forget what I'm fighting for
And maybe at times
I picture you like other times before

But this I know
Only sometimes
Do you let yourself sleep
And only sometimes
Do you break down and weep

Because the world depends on you
You remain the symbol of hope
For the price of your own soul
I wonder how long you can cope

Do I let myself care

Will I lay my soul bare

Or maybe everyday

Hmm, very nice. I usually high tale it far from the word poem fic, but this was good. Pretty much gets to the heart of Heero's problems with Relena. Why won't he catch a clue?!!! Seriously, good poem.
