Wow, that was a heart breaking story!! What a novel you have created. It was full of so many twists and turns I just wasn't expecting. I do love it when all the Gundam pilots have a connection to Relena, each in their own way. It brings out the intensity and emotions of everyone involved in the story.

It was really different seeing Cathy involved as a preventor agent. I have never see that before, most people avoid her or just give her a quick sentence or two or a mention. That was really refreshing and I enjoyed seeing her in that role.

Wufei is always such a fifficult one to deal with. I think his involvment in this one was just perfect. His code of justice had him always "doing the right thing" which changed with the many situations. His constant use of "You are weak" is comepletely appropriate for him. That is the one phrase I can always associate with him and he would say that to everyone he used it on in this story.

Something else that I have not see before in a GW fic (at least the ones I read) is Heero becoming friends with someone outside of the GW characters like he did with Brian. That was pretty neat seeing Heero develop a "real" life with a normal friend who was not involved with the war.

This story was great. I was lead to it through FFN where I also found your link for the Heero/Relena essay posted on Live Journal. I also enjoyed reading that. I have always been a fan of Heero and Relena since I first watched Gundam Wing when it was a new series in Japan (hail fan subs and all they brought, even back when they were only attainable by VHS). It angers me that people don't understand Relena. They call her weak, a stalker, clingy, and an annoying character. They should learn to pay attention to the story more instead of making uninformed decisions. Well, their loss. She is a fantastic and fasinating character full of kindness and strength. I love her.

As they say, people hate or fear that which they do not understand. Apperantely they just don't understand her.

Kudos on a fantastic story. All though it isn't the perfect happy ending I would wish for them they had a chance to live and to be together in the end. That is all anyone can ask for in life.

Oops, I forgot to add something before I posted the above review:

I also wanted to mention in more detail how much I liked your use of the other Gundam pilots besides Wufei and of course Heero. The close bond with Duo as a ture friend was so very like him and I always see Duo as "everyone's buddy".

Trowa was a surprise in how much he wanted to protect her and how much he respected her give the fact that we don't really know what he thinks about her. I can imagine from his character him playing this role to a T. My heart wrenched when he couldn't complete the mission to save her. I imagined that would just kill him inside.

Quatre having deeper feelings for her didn't come as much of a surprise. In the past I had never seen anyone write him in relation to her this way, but lately I noticed it is quite a theme. It's just something I myself never thought of. But his is really kind hearted and he did spend the most time with her aside from Heero when he was in the Sanq kingdom. I can see him developing feelings for her which he would do nothing about becaue of Heero.

Once again , great story and great use of the characters. I started reading this earlier today and just couldn't stop. I had to take a break to cook dinner for my family, but after that I was back at it again.

I myself have started my own Fanfic, 1 of Naruto, 1 of Harry Potter and 1 of Gundam Wing, the Naruto fic is being redone, the HP fic is being typed, but the GW fic is still only on paper, I hope you can boost my muse as I read you great works of Art,

Now that, that's out of the way...I was hoping that you may consider doing a siquel to this fic, as I still fell as I did the first time I read this, that it just CAN'T be over just yet,
