AN: I have to send out a huge thanks to Adaon6, who has awoken my excitement for writing on Mistaken Words. It?s been a long time but I?ve started working on it again. I can?t say when I?ll be ready to post again but at least this is a step in the right direction. This drabble was from a summer Challenge that Adaon6 started. The Prompt was swimming.
Disclaimer: I don?t own the characters from Gundam Wing
A Moment of Weakness
All he could hear was the rush of the water past his ears, as Heero stretched his body swimming hard against the current. It hadn't been so long ago that he was just regaining his strength and movement in this recalculating pool. It had been his freedom; surrounded by water he hadn't been so weak.
Raising his head for a gasp of air Heero noticed a shadow fall across the edge of the pool, and slowly the current began to slow. Letting his feet drop to the tiled floor below Heero swept his damp hair from his eyes and looked up into Relena's smiling face. She knelt on the edge of the pool, hair falling over one shoulder, her V-neck top offering Heero an exceptional view.
She leaned in quickly kissing his lips, he blond hair trailed across his wet shoulder, and his knees shook a little in the water. He told himself it was from the workout, but perhaps a little weakness wasn't such a bad thing...
Thanks for Reading
