Last Breath

In response to raine yuy's Drabble challenge.
Word Count: 100


In.
Mind numbing pain.
She would have laughed, could she find the strength. An assassin, after all their careful planning.
Pain.
Darkness, although her eyes are open wide.
She can hear people running, familiar voices yelling. "She's losing too much blood! Get that ambulance here NOW!"
Something warm and wet - blood. Her own. Seeping through her jacket, pooling around her...
She can feel herself fading, going...dying. She feels no sorrow.
Out.
Stillness. Relief from sensation.
And then light, cool and sweet. A familiar, long-lost and long-missed silhouette. The light scent of freshly cut roses wafts by.
"Lady?"
"Treize?"

great drabble. i'm thinking of writing one, 2. ah, but i onno.
someone smacked me with a lazy stick reciently.
too languid to think up a hundred words....

wow, that made me shiver. beautifully accomplished silversong. how is it that you guys were able to manage this drabble challenge when i had such a hard time? lol. i feel so inferior now. haha. but again, breath taking the way you managed to create such a dramatic piece from just 100 words.

Breathtaking is right. There isn't another word for it, sweetie!

This is the first ever fiction I've read that revolves around Lady Une and Treize, and lucky me, it's been beautifully written.
