Riza woke to a comforting warmth spread across her back. She peeked over her shoulder with one eye to spy the sleeping figure of the soft, innocent rogue that was Roy. A smile stretched across her mouth as she turned to face him. He was still fast asleep, light puffs of air coming to tease her lips. A gentle finger went to his mouth and she traced the outline. He continued to doze.

Getting bolder, she dared a quick brush of his lips against hers. Riza giggled inaudibly at the touch. Her hand reached over to push back a stray piece of his black locks. Fingering the strands, she moved up and ran her nails lightly across his scalp. The moan that fanned over her mouth brought a short laugh. Finally, she rested her head upon her arm to watch him; just as much enjoyment was taken by looking at him as touching him.

The rising sun brightening the white curtains cast a rich, golden glow around the hotel room. A few strong shafts danced across his arms and played in his hair. She was at ease watching him dream fast.

A single beam glided over his smooth earlobe.

Riza scrunched her nose as the sudden urge to lightly nibble the flesh. A thick, dark strand hung just above it and she pushed it back to join the rest of his messy hair. Her finger barely grazed the ear and she saw him shiver in his slumber. Unable to resist any further, she leaned over to touch the tip of her tongue to the flesh.

A soft thump at the door caught her attention, just as she took his earlobe between her teeth.

Assuming it was the morning paper, but curious nonetheless, she turned her eyes towards the door, her mouth not moving. A hand brought her closer and Riza locked eyes with a half alert Roy. A smile played across his mouth.

Releasing his ear, Riza leaned back into his arm. ?Good morning, Colonel.?
