I really liked that and I have often wondered/wanted to know what it was that Heero was thinking and what it all ment.

My only complaint with the fic is I would have loved to seen more. (which isn't really a complaint, I always want more...) I also wonder what it is that others feel happened after that. I like the manga a little better in that respect since we are given the impression that he stays by her side as her protector and maybe more given the last picture of them on the final page.

Any ways, bravo!! I have been surprised that I haven't read more fics with this theme. This is actually only the 2nd one I have seen that covers it. I think you did a fantastic job!!

That was lovely, and so in character. It was very easy for me to believe that these were Heero's actual feelings during the end of EW. Very nicely done!
