Winter evening
It?s still too early for spring to come
and melt my frozen heart
When I try to remember your smile
I feel it is still too weak
When our fingers first touched
my loneliness seemed to fade away
I found the comfort to sleep
peacefully in your arms
Once upon a winter evening
I was sure I had the answer
to all of my prayers
But I woke up to find
I was once again alone
If sadness can break our weak
and gentle human hearts
Then why do we allow ourselves
to feel this way?
When our lips first touched
the coldness seemed to fade away
I found the strength to smile
safely in your heart

my heart was still sound asleep
If the two of us could never heal

Then why is it so cruel to accept
