As these shadows cover me I lean in and hear your whisper.
?You don?t know what you have done to me.?
You come at me like a dagger lives to thrust into blood.
I won?t let you go.
I can?t let you go.
No matter how I try I just can?t!
I follow my heart once more
Only to find it shattered to pieces.
She cried her self to sleep at night. She knew it was his fault, but forgave him when he ?came back?. She could never let him go again. They spent a night in each others arms and she felt his pain and anger that night. She woke in the morning to his smile and his soft words, ?I love you, Sakura. I really do.? But he still left and she came home with a shattered, dead heart.
I cry out for no reason.
I have become numb with all of your pain.
It never un winds
Yet it binds,
It pushes
And pulls
Let me go.
He watched her cry that night. His subconscious demands he go back to her, but he can?t. She?s been hurt enough by him and his stupid revenge. He cries out in pain and anguish as he trains his body for the fight with his brother and that damned snake. He whispers a soft sorry and a word or two of advise, ?I?m sorry. You have to let me go.?
I feel as if I am being pulled back and forth with you.
No matter how I try I can?t resist you.
Why?
I don?t know why.
She walked with her friends but couldn?t seem to find words. She fought and she won with out trying to. She was becoming him and every one knew it. Naruto left her alone and Lee stopped talking about youth. She knew she was effecting them, but something in her was stopping her from caring. She had to tell them.
I never believed in love.
I hated people.
I have had others before you and they had yet to affect me.
I NEVER shed a tear for any of them
and then came you.
He looked at the brunet next to him. She was his third this month, she?d been good, but SHE was still in his head. He went to the window and was surprised to see a tear sliding down his cheek. He?d been with this girl before and enjoyed it but he?d never cared about her, nor she him. What the hell was wrong with him?
When you let go I felt something.
I cried.
I hated you and myself.
I hated the world.
I didn?t want you to be with any other.
He come to see her that night. Again they spent the night in her bed, but at dawn she heard him say it again that damn phrase that made her cry when he left. She loved him, but any more of THAT phrase would kill her. She figured she should get up and go see Neji. They were dating and she had to tell him she loved him to get Sasuke from her mind and from her body.
Then you kissed me and I couldn?t help wanting more
Why?
I don?t know why.
You gave me something I had never felt before
and I hated you for it I hated myself for it.
She was pregnant and he knew it was his doing. She he hated her, he hated his damn need for her. He would try to go back and try to get her forgiveness. The only problem was? he didn?t trust himself. Not with her and his unborn heir. He smiled as he knelt next to her. She woke and cried when he hugged her. She tried not to but it happened. She forgave him.
I still hate you for it
But not myself anymore
Because it was not I who had done this to myself
It wasn?t I who gave back all of the emotions that I never wanted back.
She hated him, but she married him and she let back her warm feelings come back. The child was born, it was beautiful. Purple hair framed it?s forest green eyes and pail skin. A girl, but Sasuke?s pride and joy. He loved her and only seemed to noticed her and her mother. Sakura loved the child but could hardly bear it when she had their son in the spring and a year after Yume.
You some how got inside of me.
Inside of my head.
Inside my WALL.
He held the kuni above her heart and tried to obey Orochimaru. She woke and screamed. Their two three year olds came in and looked with fear at their father. Haru, brave as his sensei and his father came and gently rapped his arms around Sasuke?s leg. Yume did the same after a moment, ?Daddy. Don?t hurt mommy. She was good, daddy. Honest.? his arm dropped lightly to his side. He had tears dancing a web across his face.
I will rebuild and this time?
Sasuke fell into Sakura?s arms. Haru and Yume joined them. Haru pulled his father?s arm in to a protective hug and smiled up at his laughing father, ?I know she?s been good Haru. I know.? Yume smiled and pulled out of her mother?s hug and Haru sensing his sisters idea went with her. They came back to see their confused parents. Haru went to his dad and whispered two word into his ear. Placing a thin box in his hand, he joined Yume on the floor in front of Sakura, ?Happy Birthday, Mommy!? they handed her flowers. Sakura looked at Sasuke who was grinning. He opened the box and showed her the diamond bracelet their kids had picked out. She gapped then kissed him deeply.
This time No one gets in.
Sakura pulled back and said the phrase they?d both been thinking out loud, ?This time NO one gets in, not a snake and not a brother. Your mine, and no one can have you.? she sealed this with a kiss and their day began with a clean slate and a clean future.

I hope you all like it. It was suppossed to be Shkamaru/Ino but Shell wouldn't let me. She took me on a guilt trip about how the poem was hers. :evil:
