- Hey this is my first fanfic so be nice. I know that i have typos in it so just read it and you'll understand it. Uh basically it starts off with them when they are like 16-17ish years old. Also this have nothing to do with the plot line but *SPOILER WARNING* just incase... there might be some parts that might spoil some of the episodes. Anything in upper case is them screaming and anything in italics is them thinking. Oh, Also this is really long... like really long. Well enough of me talking here it is...-

It was another summer day in Konoha. The temperature was just hot enough for swimming and just cool enough too hang outside with friends. It had been awhile since had a chance to hang out with his friends. The only bad part was that most of them were gone on missions except for Kiba and Choji. Naruto made his way over to their homes and asked if they wanted to hang out. Kiba said sure but Choji had to stay home and help his parents with something.
Kiba and Naruto made their way down the street through the village to get to the creek. They passed a lot of the little shops that were along the streets. Naruto had a big smile on his face and was waving to everyone as he and Kiba were walking. Akamaru was in Kiba?s jacket sleeping as they were walking down the street to the creek.
They finally made it to the creek and set up camp there to have a little picnic which was really nothing but the ramen Naruto brought. ?Figures that you don?t have anything else but that,? Kiba said. Akamaru barked in agreement with his master. Naruto just stood there scratching the back of his head smiling. After they got that set up they decided that they should go jump of the cliff where the source of the water came from. They did this for about 30 minutes and got tired of it. They just swam around on their backs since they were bored.
Hinata at the time was on the trail that passed the creek. She had to go find some different herbs for a medical cream that she was making. She heard laughter coming from the creek and decided to find out who it came from. As she got closer she thought she heard a familiar voice. Naruto? I heard that he was back from his training? She kept going closer to the creek and found a big enough tree to hide behind that had some brush around it to cancel out her image. She saw Naruto in the water with Kiba and Akamaru was chasing after butterflies on the other bank. It?s definitely him she thought. She tried to listen harder at what they were saying at that moment.
?Hey, Kiba. What do you think about Hinata?? asked Naruto. Hinata blushed at the sound of Naruto mentioning her name. Kiba replied, ?Huh? Well uh, she?s pretty cool. I?ve been on the same team with her for like ever now, so she?s basically like a sister to me. What do you mean?? ?Oh, nothing I was just wondering,? said Naruto feeling a little embarrassed about the question. Hinata thought, that?s sweet of you Kiba. But then Kiba asked Naruto back, ?Naruto the real question here is what do you think of Hinata?? Kiba, be quiet!, thought Hinata as loud as she could, hoping that he would get her message. Her face was turning pink but she was trying to listen harder now to see what Naruto had to say. ?Huh?? Naruto answered. ?I guess I never really thought about it. Hmmm.? Naruto stopped floating on his back and feel into the water so that he was now standing up on floor of the creek. ?Well,? he continued, ?she is pretty cool, I guess.? Hinata?s face was getting redder with each passing moment. ?But someone like her would never go out with a guy like me. I?m just a nobody with big dreams and she is from one of the most honorable clans here,? said Naruto. ?Your so blind sometimes Naruto, do you know that? But, it looks like someone?s got a crush. You know, just between the two of us, I can hook you up if you want,? said Kiba laughingly, egging Naruto on. ?What!? Hey! Come on!,? Naruto said feeling embarrassed at the thought of being found out and decided that the only way of stopping his awkwardness and Kiba laughing was by splashing him in the face.
Hinata turned away from Kiba and Naruto. Her face looked like it was about to explode. She slowly slouched down the tree and brought her hands up to her face. H-He really does like me!, Hinata thought.
