Hi, my name is Mike and I'm new here. Been a big fan of Wing since I saw it on cartoon network and have been steadily getting more and more into anime and animation ever since. I've even tried my hand at fan fiction.

This website looks great, and it seems to have a lot of participation so I'm looking forward to wasteing a whole lot of time here. I'm going to do my best to not let school and work get in the way

you're a wing expert, you say??? hey, may i ask the reason why Zero Wing's wings turned from boring metal wings into beautiful angel wings????

i think i've read from a site called "White Reflection" that there was a reason for that....wonder what it is???

The reason(s) why Zero's wings changed:

Short:Because there was a new mecha designer for endless waltz and he did not want to use the same designs that were used in the show. The new designer was Hajime Katoki, and he even went back and did redesigns of the original wing gundams and other units too including Epyon (my fav) in the style of Endless Waltz

Long:I've seen afew reasons given in the manga, the worst being that the Gundams were allways like that ie) Zero supposededly allways had the wings like that etc etc; another manga claims that in the one year of peace that followed the end of the war the Gundam pilots had little to do other than upgrade their mecha, supposedly by themselves, and stay sharp for any battles that might come their way- apparantly Heero has quite afew engineering degrees struffed inside his trousers along with the radio and gun, who knew?
