Jess: Hello everyone! It?s me again, only this time- I have a partner in crime! Oops, I mean co-author. Liz and I are joining our creative genius (I say that like we have some?) for an unusual story.
Liz: Ever seen the movie The 5th Element? It?s kind of a take off of that. Jess never actually saw the movie? but we can all pretend.
Jess: Darn tootin? we can! *looks around* Uhm? yeah? we?re going to start the story now. Just so that you know- the story line for GW never existed and they live in OUR present time. Just thought I should clarify that because I?m over here confusing myself.
The Fifth Element
::Cairo, Egypt- Valley of the Kings- 1503 AC::
He took her brush and dusted away some of the grime and dirt covering part of the wall. The brush caught, and the archeologist, Milliardo Peacecraft, leaned forward for a closer look. It appeared to be some sort of keyhole and it sparked his interest. ?Wufei, come take a gander at this.?
The priest stood, aggravated to be torn away from his most recent hieroglyphic uncovering. He sauntered quickly to where the blond man stood, and peered over his shoulder. What he saw made his blood run cold and his heart nearly stopped beating. ?No one is supposed to know of this. He must be disposed of, and quickly.? Wufei put on a disapproving mask. ?You called me all the way over here for a hold in the wall. The sun has boiled your brains.?
Wufei glanced at the man, a plan formulating quickly. He took out his hip flask and dropped in some of the hemlock he had stored for one of his rituals. ?Have a drink, maybe it?ll bring some sense back into you.?
Milliardo took it and was about to take a drink when Wufei turned away, not wanting to see the effects of the deadly poison. But when droplets of water splashed onto his legs, Wufei turned back to find his partner staring blankly at something up in the sky. A large silver, lemon shaped object blew sand and dirt across their faces and bodies. Several blinking lights shone upon them, casting an eerie glow upon their surroundings. The two men stared, neither one coherent enough to move, while the gadget landing a few yards away. A hatch of sorts opened revealing large, humanoid, metal objects, which quickly filed from the craft. The priest swallowed the large lump that had formed in his throat as he watched the creatures move to the door, all the while talking in a gibberish of sorts. Milliardo nudged Wufei and tried to inch away, but the aliens stopped them both and used a force to bring them to their feet. Wufei knew what was expected of him and pulled out the key that dangled from a leather strap around his neck. He stepped forward and placed the key into the opening in the wall and turned it. Moments passed before the two walls separated, opening to a large room with four pedestals and a statue. Perched on top of each pedestal was a single block. The aliens moved forward, removing the blocks and the statue in the center. Milliardo followed, taking in his surroundings with a silent awe, where as Wufei remained outside, not daring to enter the sacred chamber. Having what they came for, the creatures filed out of the door and the wall began to close behind them. A dumbstruck Milliardo didn?t notice that his only way out was closing until a mere sliver of light remained. Wufei shook with silent rage on the other side, yes he would have had to kill Milliardo anyway, but it still angered him that instead of a quick, painless poisoning, Milliardo would have to suffer in darkness until he suffocated inside that hell chamber. The aliens swept back onto their ship and left as quietly as they arrived, leaving Wufei to gather his belongings and return back to his campsite where he would have to start preparations for an heir to pass on his secret.
TBC?
Jess: *raises an eyebrow* That sucks Milliardo got stuck in there.
Liz: yeah it does?::mocks Mill. makes choking noises:: Save me?
Jess: *smacks Liz* you dope? its no wonder we?re the entire Non-winners association.
*Liz and Jess do secret handshakes* riiiight?
