Hey everyone, fallen dove here. I have come to tell all of those kind enough to read my series "All I Can't Have" that I will be AFK for three days. I have been getting pulled under by work and such and I am taking three sick days for myself. Also, I have to give a quick two day visit to "mother dear", that should be fun -_-.
Anyway, although I will be away from the computer I will have my trusty notepad with me- I want to work on the plot a bit more. When I get back I should have the next few chapters already plotted out and ripe "for the postin". Ugg, that was a bad pun. Do forgive me, it is 1 am over here.
But, to keep those of you who don't handle suspence well satisfied, I have decided to leave you witha small sneak peek at the opening of Ch.5. Continue having a great summer, everyone, and I will see you in 3!
(the actual opening to the chapter when its officially posted may be similiar, identical, or very different.)
Ch.5 Opening
Relena held the note in her hands, his handwriting, despite his attempts at appearing inpersonal, even in a damn note, flared here and there with who he was. In the note's excellent penmenship, finished off by a slight swerve in the "y" as if he were in a hurry, gave off everything Relena had ever known about Heero. She ran her fingers across it.
Wait... she scolded herself suddenly, shooting to a sitting position. What the hell am I doing studying his penmenship!?
Without waiting another moment Relena had leapt from the bed, the note held fast in her hand, and bolted out her door. She hope, prayed, that he hadn't left yet. She reached the stairs and saw the tip of his unruly mess of spiked hair dissapear around a corner at the bottom.
"Heero!" she called unabashed as she moved to rush down the stairs. Or, at least, that's what she tried to do.
Relena tripped between the first and second stair from the top, her arms flying above her head as her body became completly airborn. It was as if time slowed, Relena closed her eyes as she waited for impact.
She hit something hard, but it wasn't the floor. Opening her eyes, Relena gasped as Heero's blues stared back at her.
She had fallen right into his arms.
He had caught her a bit akwardly, one hand held tightly onto her arm while the other held her around the small of her back. Relena had landed a bit strangely herself, one hand was pressed between them, upon his chest, while the other had been thrown around his neck as she attempted to get her balance. Once again she had made a complete full of herself in front of him, once again she had been saved in the most innapropraite of ways. But for once...
she didn't care...

At laaaaaaast! I only hope there are more scenes like this coming. Enjoy your sick days (if one can enjoy sick days... only if you're not really sick!). I will check back faithfully in a few days for the next chapter.
