NANA anime, movie, and manga discussion

Now that Shojo Beat has been running in the US, America finally has the chance to see the most popular shojo manga ever in Japan, NANA.

Has anyone started reading the series, or had a chance to catch the recent anime? There was a live-action movie of it released last year as well, and even starred Nakashima Mika as Osaki Nana!! It was such a great film <3

I'm actually relatively new to NANA, and just started reading it this year, but I love it! Finally having an anime for it is really exciting!

I had heard of the series but didn't get interested until I saw that there was an anime just beginning. So I downloads it you see and I fell in heart with it.

Then I realized, there was manga and I NEEDED it. So I downloaded that as well. (Then I moved and never read the last chapter I downloaded and have since forgotten what chapter that was and don't want to download anything else until I can figure out where I was and all which means that I am also unable to download the anime eps either making me a verreh sad fan.)

Totally checked out the movie too and loved it. I totally want Takumi. Aw yeah. Manga version or movie version (preferrably movie version since he's flesh and blood) it doesn't <s>really</s> matter.

Can't say who I like better between the two Nana's though. I love them both equally but would probably end up...well no.... Though Hachi irritates me with her flightyness I can't hate her or dislike her completely. Nana O has her good points but a few bad ones too. Maybe I'd want to just take care of them both? I know I'd want to help Hachi out for sure because in all honesty I'm not sure if she really has any GOOD friends (I'd feel very unloved by them with some of their actions). But with Nana O I'd want her to not feel all alone and so isolated as well.

*sigh* <s>Those two just need to marry each other.</s>

So what was I really trying to say?

That's right, I'm addicted to this series as well. XDDD

I just started reading the manga series. So far I love it. I tend to lean more towards Nana O. She is quiet but Hatchi likes her a lot and looks up to her. Though I do see changes in them both. Buts me really like Ren. Though you only really catch him in volume one. He's teh hotness. I can't wait for Volume 4. Yes, I have to wait for it to come out because I have teh suckiest connection ever. But oh well, it's definately worth the wait!

I gotta a question though...Do you think Yasu has something for Nana O?

Hee hee... I love both Nanas, but I am most like Osaki Nana, therefore I like Hachi best~ But I can be like Hachi too sometimes...

Has anyone heard the soundtrack from the movie? Oh gosh, that Trapnest song "Endless Story" is so good! Ito Yuna is a PERFECT Reira in my mind - she's so beautiful and her voice is so pure! And "MY MEDICINE" is really awesome, even though Nakashim Mika's english is so bad...haha...

Wicked I KNEW you'd be one to like NANA... It's so addicting, no? I heard there will be another NANA live action movie soon... So more flesh and blood Takumi for you~! And more Nobu for me, hahaha!!!!

Lady Casper, it's not just you... I feel that Yasu has a thing for Nana O. as well... But time will tell if that is true or not! I wish I knew more spoilers about the series, but I only know of a few (one of them is a doozy, though....) so I guess I will just have to wait and keep watching and reading like every one else!!

Ooooh I love Nana! I first read it in Shojo Beat, and now I plan on collecting all the manga. *.* It's soo much fun. I have yet to see the anime... Can anyone tell me where I can find it?
